Why can't people use the search feature before asking a question for the umpteenth time?

I think they do use it then just change the question enough to make it appear like a different question.

Maybe they are looking for a different answer than those already given. Maybe the original question was asked in a different way and they couldn't find it. It is amazing how people take ownership of these sites after a while. Like it is their site and they are the AB police. Just relax and enjoy the ride. Who cares if a question is asked twice?

some of the questions that pop up as being similar, are from over a year ago, so its refreshing to ask a similar question to the users that are currently on board, and yes, you will get another variety of answers as well, does it really matter?
