Yes, I keep the peanut butter in the frige. But if I forget to put it away I don't worry about it.
-
I don't. I believe most peanut butter brands have a long shelf life, even when already opened. Besides, in my home a jar of PB doesn't last that long for it to go bad. : ) The reason I have is that I find it turns too hard and difficult to spread when cold.
-
No because then when i try to use Peanut Butter it is harder than a rock
-
No I don't. It's already hard to spread...why make it harder?
-
Not if it's Skippy. If it's natural PB yes I do as it can go rancid. In real hot humid weather, I also place the other in the fridge.
-
I do because I buy natural peanut butter, and it doesn't have preservatives so it will go rancid quickly if not in the frige. I don't if it is Jiff or something like that.
-
I would prefer not to, but since my S/O prefers it that way . . . lol
-
Yes, when I remember to put it away after use, otherwise my boyfriend puts it in the cupboard
-
No, I like it soft & spreadable.

You MUST refrigerate natural peanut butter. That is the kind that doesn't have junk in it...peanuts and salt are the only ingredients. The peanut butter that doesn't need refrigeration also includes partially hydrogenated or hydrogenated oils..they are very bad for your heart..much worse than butter. There are also peanut butters with palm oil in them..also bad for your heart. So you have a choice..if you want your peanut butter at room temperature buy the ones with junk in 'em..if not, then you have no choice..buy the ones whose only ingredients are peanuts and salt and refrigerate them! :)

Only the natural, other wise no. I would end up with a big hole in my bread!:)
-
No way. It makes it so cold that I can't spread it on the bread.
-
I leave mine in the fridge, there's not many other places to store it
-
Can't keep it in the house at all, my daughter is alergic.
-
Yup, I love eating cold PB&J's.
-
no i like it to be soft and easy to spread on the bread.
-
No, it spreads easier if it is room temperature.
-
Yep. I take it out when I anticipate having some.
-
no, cause then it gets hard :( ;)
-
No. Too many incidents with elephant footprints in the fridge...
-
No, I keep it in the cabinet.
-
No, it makes it too difficult to spread. But I guess if you bought natural peanut butter you might have to because it would not have preservatives.
-
I do in the summer. I hate it because it gets hard but it goes bad faster if I dont.
-
