serious if i wanted a "funny" answer i would just go to YAnswers because most of the "funny" ones are just rude or at the least not remotely helpful

I prefer both as long as they are good answers. Even if I ask a serious question and I get a great but wrong hilarious answer I will award the user and let them know that I thought it was amusing in a comment to assure that person that I appreciated their input.

Either one is fine. I try to mix it up a little when I answer questions. Too much seriousness can't be good for your health!

It depends on the question. If it's a serious question, I want a serious answer. Of course, there are some serious questions that absolutely scream for a funny answer...

Yeah depends on the question, also depends on the joke. If they're being funny, It's enjoyable, if they're being offensive/asinine then keep it to yourself. But both most of the time.

Serious questions call for serious answers. But I know I would bore AB to death if all of my questions were serious. That's why I also post questions that seek humorous answers. There's a place and time for everything.
