if you do it for a laugh, then it's ok!! but if it happens beyond your control, you should be concerned. sometimes people sufer from tics. these are sudden, repetitive, stereotyped, nonrhythmic movements (motor tics) or in your case, utterances (phonic tics) that involve discrete muscle groups. Motor tics are movement-based tics, while phonic tics are involuntary sounds produced by moving air through the nose, mouth, or throat. Tics may increase as a result of stress, tiredness, or high energy emotions, which can include negative emotions, such as anxiety, but positive emotions as well, such as excitement or anticipation. A simple phonic tic can be almost any possible sound or noise, with common vocal tics being throat clearing, coughing, sniffing, or grunting. Complex phonic tics may fall into various categories, including echolalia (repeating words just spoken by someone else), palilalia (repeating one's own previously spoken words), lexilalia (repeating words after reading them) and coprolalia (the spontaneous utterance of socially-objectionable or taboo words or phrases).

I bark and howl to my dog all the time. When I had more dogs it was like a choir of howls. The neighbors thought I was nuts but who cares. On the flip side their are other conditions that can cause this, like a form of epilepsy. But if you just like making noise I say go for it.

No, I love a good MEEEEOOOOWWWW now and then, although most times I prefer the company of cats...Maybe, you have tourettes syndrome. People shout out things on occation. Do you curse and swear out loud also? I don't think an occcational bark or meow is bad, but Im not a dr. I hate Drs.
