sometimes i do, but its a case of for their own good, the heart dont feel what the heart dont know. i would never just lie unless i thoughtr it was necessary. like if im going on a long trip i wont tell my mother because i know shell be up all night thinking about it, or if my sister asks me an opinion and i dont want to hurt her. dont get me wrong, sometime and very brutally honest, but every now and then i get a bit of moral conscience........

Well, when I had friends, I never lied. I may not have told them everything, but it was always an act of ommission and not deceit. And I'm glad I never told them anything that I consider to be 'important', they proved not to be my friends.

I have. My friend was dating a boorish, obnoxious loudmouth that got on my nerves everytime I was around him. Yet, he treated her like gold. She asked me, "Do you like him?" I said, "Yes. I think he is great for you." LIE on the yes I like him part, truth on the "I think he is great for you" part. Besides, my true feelings for him hold no candle to my feelings for her. I respect her choice enough to put up with him, and I respect their relationship enough to not put pressure on her just because I don't like his demeanor. About big things, no, I do not lie to my friends.

I don't. If i feel like i need to hide information from them i will merely refuse to tell them the truth. They get a little angry at me but eventually they let it go. I would never lie to my friends though

Yes but not in a way to hurt them. Like I tell them I like the same song sometimes even though I don't or I tell them good try even if they suck at soemthing

i have told little lies to them, like *yes i like that top* and made up an excuse when not wanting to hang out with them, but i dont lie about anything big i just do it to spare their feelings. But i have one friend who lies to everyone all the time. about everything.

nope... I have even told my wife "yes those pants do make you look fat" they added like 30 lbs to her hips alone.

I lie 2 mine ALL the time. When they come over and ask if i have a beer i tell them i just drank the last one.

A friendship is based on honesty and trust,but their are times that you must search yourself to find the right way,white lies!sometimes honesty and trust can come in conflict in a freindship,we dont want to hurt them and we dont want to lie to them either,friendship is not always easy but a good friend reacts in the favour of the other

I don't lie to anybody, and certainly not to my friends. I love them and dishonesty just isn't part of the equation.
