Dad's how do you handle disrespectful boys that don't treat your teenage daughter right ,without resorting to whipping their punk ass?

I wish my husband was here so he could answer this but I can tell you this much the "punk ass" wouldn't get near our daughter. He would have to go through my husband first and I don't even know a grown man who would try that.

Hahahaha, not resorting to violence, your funny. When they come to the door, open it up with a shotgun to the face (see picture for proper posture) tell them that they shall be home by 10, not 11, 10. Any bad behavior shall be...punished. Make it clear that you have 11 acres of land between the family, and that it can be used.

All of these answers are right! I have a 15 year old daughter.. and I think the Bill Cosby method is one good way to handle it... another is the scare the crap out of them method... my personal fav.. like the guy with the shotgun... lol!

you put the fear of god into to them ...make them sooooo shit scared they would think twice..three..four times before even trying something ...seems to work very well...:):)... but I always prefer whipping their arse method ... no miss understandings then

My boss is an ex-cop and he grills the boys before he ever lets them take his daughters out. Because I'm a friend of the family, I'm instructed to let any of the boys who are hanging around his daughters know that "Dad carries a BIG GUN". Seriously, though, he tells them up front that he doesn't ever want to hear of them mis-treating his daughter in any way -- that he's intrusting his child to them to take out, and he expects her to be treated with care and respect.

Being as I am a Viking Warlord, I like to show them my collection of bladed killing instruments! Then I ask them to please pick on out, at which time I instruct them on the different ways I can disembowl them with it if they ever darken mine or my daughters doorway again! Then I beat their punk ass!

This would only work if you are friends with or are related to a cop. Tell your daughter to invite him over for dinner. Prepare a very nice dinner, and have any of your PD friends there for the meal too. Wait for him to slip up and introduce them as Officer so-and-so :)

Luckily I have four three sons and one daughter and all my sons are big boys good but none of them take no Sh_t. I never have to do anything because they do all the work they know all the guys number one rule no punks allowed. My daughter was eighteen before any one came to my house. To answer your question these days guys got to know that you take an interest in your daughter is your number one priority an dif something happens somebody gotta answer for it. I was lucky my boys kicked all the asses I never had to . My oldest son is 5"10 230lbs. next son 6'2 270lbs and youngest is 6'4" 180lbs. By the way I'm an avid hunter I own many guns and they all know that fear works very well good luck.

If you have any friends who're cops, just tell your daughter to invite her punk ass boyfriend over for dinner. prepare a nice dinner and have your PD friend(s) at the table for the meal. As soon as he slips up just introduce them as officer(s) so-and-so :) But seriously, everyone who posted all these answers about preemptively threatening the kid, I don't agree with you. Give the guy a chance. I know if My gf's dad showed me a gun, not only would I not be threatened by him, I would be disappointed that he automatically assumed that I was a scumbag. You really should try to maintain a good relationship with your daughter's boyfriends, but as soon as they step out of line, you have to tell them whats up. A badge and a gun really do the trick. But if you don;t have any friends in law enforcement, Sit down with him and tell him that you feel that you are a responsible daughter, and your criminal record takes a distant second to her personal safety and happiness

Hmm, well I'm a teenage guy and treat women right anyway, but I was impressed when an ex-girlfriend's dad just had talk with me about how he wanted his daughter to remain a virgin and the like. I respected his wishes.

my dad just ignored any friends i had when i was a teen (well still does) male or female he only started being 'funny' when i got engaged-work that 1 out-he then after 3 years with the guy told me he was jelous coz him and my mum does not have the close relationship like we have... idiot really
