  • I think a more important question to be asking is "Does playing on the computer 3+ hours a day interfere with other important things in my life?" I must admit, I surf the internet and play online games quite a bit more than 3 hours a day sometimes, but I always make sure I have necessary things done first - such as daily chores, making sure food is bought, playing with my cats, ect. If you can get your necessary things done for the day, I don't see this being a problem if it is something you enjoy. Its much like sitting in front of the TV for hours on end, and you don't see many people complaining about that these days! However, if you aren't getting your homework done, or your home is a mess, then it might indicate that you are spending too much time on the computer and need to set some limits on yourself.
