OK, da ben, first tell me if we're the western or eastern part.

I think so. I think we are totally out of touch with our bodies, and therefore, our smells. I love natural smells, and find room freshening products repulsive. They give me headaches, to be honest. A nice bunch of lilacs can make a room smell fantastic, and I throw open all windows for the scent of fresh cut grass! We are caught up in an 'artificial' world, where CLEAN is somehow connected with a chemical odor.

Some of those room deoderizers are pretty bad...and candles. I have bad allergies, and if they are flowery scents, they give me a headache and/or make my head stuffy (if it's a "food" scent like fruit, vanilla, cinnamon, etc., it doesn't bother me). But, believe me, growing up with two males in the house, I'd rather smell those flowery sprays than the stink they left behind! Not that I don't have my own "issues" sometimes! LOL!

I think east and west are concerned about odors. If you look at eastern cultures, they have been using incense and oils for a very long time.

I hate room deodorizers and really strong perfume. They give me headaches, migraines to be more precise.

I've noticed this most of my life. Everyone seems to be obsessed with covering up and sanitizing and cleaning. Why shouldn't a kitchen smell like a good meal? What's wrong with smelling like a clean person? Can't we just enjoy fresh air without making it smell like 'something' else? There are dog breath treats and deodorizers for cars, outside deodorizers. I don't get it.

Some of us are very sensitive to odors...I can smell many things that Jim doesn't even notice. So I like the Cinnamon fragrance spray. I think it's like anything else..tastebuds differ, what you are able to hear differs..what you see (if you are color-blind, for instance) differs..we try to make our environment more pleasant, and all we have to go by is our senses! :)

I kinda like flatulence.
