How can I make my 1999 Cougar quicker off the line? It already has upper and lower SVT intake manifold, 60mm throttle body, Ford 9mm spark plug wires, Belanger headers, Apexi N1 exhaust and a cat-back exhaust system.

Try premium fuel, NOS, or a better air intake. You can have the best intake manifold in the world but if you still have the stock air intake and filter, not enough air is getting in there. Let er' breathe.

Chip it, lower it, induction kit, dont use fuel addatives... there prooven to not work and sometimes actualy slow your car down... Other than that... Get a new engin with a turbo!
