Chevy astro van- won't start, no spark coming out coil, new coil did not help. Is there a spark control module? or a ign. cotrol module.

before you bought the new coil did you check to see if there was electricity GOING TO the coil? it could be that there is not. I would check the fuses as there are fuses labeled "IGN". There are fuses not only under the dash but also in the engine compartment

I have a 2000 Safari 4.3 with same problem, have tested coil for power and resistance, checked ign. module for resistance, check crank sensor for power and resistance and cam sensor for power and pulse output, all checked fine but still nbo0 spark to plugs. If someone has an answer please help!! :)

I have an 88 astro which did the same, I rebiult all electronics, still not work. read manual and it said, believe it or not altinator, It runs now
