Totally silent and totally dark.

No noise...no light.

I usually go to sleep with the TV on and sleep with it in low volume all night. I get bored when I try to fall asleep in the quiet.

I like it to be sooooo pitch black that I wear a sleep mask. Sometimes I turn the radio on down really low so it sorta lulls me to sleep. I'm trying to get off Ambien right now after having used it nightly for about 3 years. I just don't want to be so dependent. Sometimes I use half a Dramamine to help me get to sleep until I can conquer this.

Personally I like to sleep in the dark with no lights & no sounds but my fraidy cat hubby won't sleep in silence & has to have a fan on to go to sleep no matter how cold or hot it is he has to have a fan in his face on high. And I turn all the lights out when I go to sleep he gets up to go pee & turns the light on the stove on & leaves it then I get up behind him & turn it out. Then I usually kick him or jerk the covers off of him when i come back to bed because he's to much of a chicky pooh to walk in the dark & he knows any light wakes me up after 13 years.

I like to go to sleep pitch black, silent, but I can sleep through some noise.

Lights off, and a bit of noise. Normally not the TV, though as that will keep me up.

Doesn't matter. Anywhere Anytime.

Pitch black and white noise (usually the fan).

I can sleep anywhere. Anytime. However I prefer having my pets with me and it pitch black.

i can't sleep in dead silence b/c then i'll hear my thoughts and that keeps me awake. so i set the tv on a timer so i have some quiet noise in the background.
-
very dark and quite maybe a fan on low

I work night shift so I am accustomed to sleeping in moderate light. I'll pull the window blind down to filter out some light, but that's all I need. I can sleep through virtually anyhing though. I've slept through thunderstorms many times without even knowing it.
