I just have to put this because I have just seen it on a chat show. Tom Hanks collects Typewriters he has over 70 of them. Seems strange to me.

Well I guess me at least my family thinks so--- I collect pens and pads of paper in all different colors. I am not sure about the pads of paper but I know I have well over 100 pens!

I collect rocks. I have a whole rock garden, with a box of notes about where the rocks came from. I try for different colors. I have black, brown, red, yellow, green, white, speckles, slate,obsidian, and some wood fossil.

Now nobody nail me on this, this is the honest truth! I know of a guy up north of here that collected dried raccoon penises! I swear it! He had several dozen of them, but he also was an avid raccoon hunter.

I collect old fashion can's for my bedroom shelf which spans across 12feet, My living room I have a china cabinet full of old tea pots, dinning area a china cabinet full of old cups, and a 12ft long shelf for all blue & white figurenes,all shapes and sizes. everything old.many of blue boy & girl. they are beautiful.I'm all done collecting now. I told all my family I don't want anything more,as I ran out of space. The space I do have left is for something really really old and unusual,and I'd pick it up myself if I come across it.

Hi firebrand, my grandma used to save the little containers that frosting comes in, when she passed away she had hundreds boxed up ready to put something in, she also used to save the bags from cereal boxes and roll them up on paper towel rolls, I guess to reuse for something else, I always found that odd, but made her happy!

i have been collecting bogus checks from scammers. i have a total of $88,650.00 in bogus checks,money orders,money grams,travellers checks,cashiers checks. i am collecting them to see how much i can get in bogus checks. thats my hobbie

My husband collects the torn corners from money. He never tears them himself, he just collects ones that he finds. He has a jar full of them. And still I married this man...?

I think it's weird to collect figures of farm animals. Like roosters. The colors are awful and I hate to say this but cows all look the same to me

I had a co-worker who collected pencil sharpeners. I gave him one I had that was shaped like a milk carton. I knew someone who collected erasers. I didn't realize there were hundreds of different shaped erasers.

An old classmate is a collector of rocks. I was invited to his house once. It was filled with all kinds of rocks. His wife who could not stomach his weird passion, decided to move out to her parents' home temporarily. She would only return when his rocks are moved some where else. I am not in the know concerning the latest about him.
