  • There is a website that talks all about this. http://www.stillcooker.com/
  • hi, this site might help, best I found, and I looked before.. http://homedistiller.org/ oskar/vienna
  • Normac, I will advise you not to go for that. First it is illegal, second if you will try to over extract that, it may turn poisonous.(LIFE THREATENING)
  • lol have you ever tasted the stuff it is so rank as to make you sick. Who with a right mind would make the stuff
  • Good Question: The Homedistiller.org is one of the best sites to cover the topic. But basically you need a pot or base (the vessel you boil or heat up your wort/wash/beer what have you. A condenser and something to catch it in. Basically pretty simple. As far as the ignorant un-informed folks who worry about poisoning etc. #1 these myths were basically perpetuated during prohibition, by lowlifes who wanted to kick up their bath tub gins with methanol or the like. #2 if you use quality ingredients you will not get poisoned at all. The heads have minor traces of other alcohols as does the tails - the first and last of the distillation process. Just follow the directions and have fun. Personally have made some very high quality vodka's and sour mash whiskeys. Going to try a Tequila type this winter. Cheers
