  • Your bored aren't you?
  • This is so sad. Why don't you just go back to playing with yourself? At least then you won't irritate the rest of us.
  • It's possible to love things in an unromantic sense.
  • This kind of disrespectful questioning will get you a good arse paddling.
  • In this answer, I am talking about some representations of the Christian God. I do not assume that is must actually exist. 1) Don't stick to those things that you hear about the Bible. Much of it don't have to be taken literally, in my opinion. 2) You know what an image is. Do you prefer to be married with an image of a person, or with a person? Or do you think you are about the same as God? Some people think this. Most of them don't create universes. 3) God made woman out of man. How? It could have been some kind of elaborated cloning. Then woman would also be at the image of God. For various reasons, among others that "image of God" part, people have often represented God as a man. But if you ask, many scholars will tell you that we don't have the slightest idea how God really looks like. We just represent God as an old man (Father), a young man (Son) and a pigeon (Holy Ghost). 4) In a Christian representation, it does not make much sense, either, to give God a kind of sexuality. God created sexuality. God is sexuality. Only Jesus, as far as he is also a human being, could have had something of that kind. However, you will not find much references for this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus'_sexuality
  • ...no... Parents love their children very much. That doesn't make them gay. This is, in my opinion, one of the few stupid questions in the world.
  • Actually, the bible says "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Which is discussing the entire race of mankind, not just men the gender. God isn't male OR female, such that saying he's gay is just stupid. Next time before you ask questions about the bible, read the context for the statements you're skewing.
  • hahahahahahahahahahaha
  • There is a difference between loving someone and loving someone sexually. Parents love their children, but not sexually. God loves man, but not sexually.
  • Only if you believe God is a truly anthropormorphic god. This idea is very common to polytheism, as it reinforces the need for many individual deities to represent the entirety of divine concepts. This is why the Trinity concept is an essential to popular monotheistic traditions. In Christianity, for example, Jesus is the anthropormorphic representation of God, he become one with God by dying on the cross, facing Satan and ascending to heaven. Traditions which preceded monotheism instilled a desire for some human likeness to define god. Christianity and Islam met this criteria of God and thus ultimately became very popular religions. At some point, you must acknowledge there are ways the real thing differs from his "image." In this, you need a concept of god that goes beyond humanity while completely encompassing it.
  • God loves all his children of all orientations. But not in a romantic way.
  • Hmmmm.... let me think here.... no. Yep, no way.
  • Actually all forms of life even human start out as female. So I think the Adam and Eve story is out the window.
  • Good thing God did not make you in his image, because that would make God a fool.
  • This is truly a sad question. Is god gay? Are you serious? God made us all equal, men and women. And God loves us all because he created us. Are you a pedophile because you love the child you helped create that is the same gender as you? This is the most ridiculous question I have ever seen, you should really think twice before you open your mouth next time. Even the fact that you think that God could be on the same level as us to be considered a "he" instead of a "she" shows your level of ignorance.
  • Does fathers loving their sons make the fathers gay? God doesn't love "man" sexually. And most people don't interpret the "image" shared with God as a physical one. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who believes God actually looks like men do, in shape and form, etc. There are different ways of interpreting that line, but most people think it means something psychic or mental or emotional that we share with God.
  • Nah, It is the love of nature that is inherent in all creation.
