How do I block someone from searching for me on Google using my email (which I also use as my screen name on forums)? I am a member of many forums and I don't want a search result to come up when someone Googles my email!

You cann0ot block anyone from searching for information about you online. There are other places besides Google, too. That is why you have to be careful what and where you post things. Sorry about that.

Stop using your email address as a screen name. If you've been posting on forums with the same screen name, everything you've said can be found, so long as it remains on the forum.

Of course you can't do that. This is why I've decided to choose a very generic identity in the Internet. What you can do is change yours too.

Use a different e-mail address/screen name specifically for the Internet and hide your e-mail whenever possible if you don't want anyone to find it.

Eh, it happens to the best of us. HI JB IF YOUR READING THIS NOW! Haha! anyways, whenever you put anything online IT IS PUBLIC! Its common sense not to use your real email address if you dont want people to see it. That is the sole purpose of public forums, to be easily searched and accessable through many search engines. If you dont want certain people to read them then you need to join a "private" forum and use another name that nobody could possibly connect to you.
