This is something that you have to decide on your own. You don't make it clear in your question, but because you are considering the possibility of serving a mission, I will assume that you are LDS. As a returned missionary myself, I can tell you that serving a mission entails a lot of hard work. It means long days of seeking out and teaching people who are interested in learning about the gospel. It is not eight hours a day, five days a week. You spend evenings and weekends working at it too. So, it takes a lot of dedication and a strong testimony to do this work. Personally, I would not trade the time I spent as a missionary for anything. All of that work can also be very rewarding as you see people accept the Gospel. However, if you are not prepared to put in the work, then you should not go on a mission. If you are not prepared to do the work you will be a drag on your companions and make it harder for them. So, you have to go because it is something that you want to do. Don't serve a mission to please someone else. That is the wrong reason. Serve a mission because you want to.

This is a no-brainer. You should talk to your Bishop about going on your mission. Just get out there and do it.

Leave the church, become a christian and have a free life!

It won't be any easier to go at 25, or 35.

Of course you should go. But, it is solely your decision, and missionary work requires faith and dedication. You should not go, however, merely to please the woman you intend to marry. It is good only if it is your wholehearted descision. Think on it.
