lol no i do the same thing. too much stuf i like for myself you know.
-
Nope, we are like 2 peas in a pod! I just spent about $120 on others and $80 on myself.
-
not completely.
-
I'm proud...for the first time this year i got ONLY for everyone else....and then $4 to the salvation army...i was SOOOO tempted to spend money on myself...haha but....didn't...
-
How could you not? Everything is on sale!!
-
I cant afford christmas presents at all this year so not as hopeless as me.
-
No. it's nice to treat yourself every once in a while.
-
I've done that before. I'll go into a store bearing in mind that I need to get my friends/family something and end up buying something for myself. I don't know how it happens it just does.
-
Drastic! It's to close to Christmas lol...What did u buy?
-
you put yourself before others. what do you think?
-
Keep the clothes I would. Look at it this way. You just got everything you wanted for Christmas. Santa was verry good to you this year.
-
Well I guess the question is if you care about yourself more than others. If you need clothes, there are plenty of ways to get clothing that don't involve spending your Christmas money on yourself. And if you really need more clothes, do laundry more often.
-
If it was your money, and not money your parents gave you specifically to buy gifts with, do whatever you want. If your friends and family don't already know what type of person you are, this will help them realize it. Enjoy the spirit of the season. :)
-
yes!.... I find your excuse about running out of jeans a bit lame .... you sound like one of the 'me me me' generation
-
There are much cheaper places to get jeans than Holister, and unless you work at a place that requires that level of dress, I would say you just spent money that you should have on friends. There are plenty of more places to get jeans that are good and durable- even if, gasp!- they aren't in style. Did your parents give you money specifically to buy gifts? Then, yes, you need to obey their wishes because you basically stole from them. Did you spend your own money? Though I think it's a waste, it is your money to spend. Just don't be asking for more cash from the parents since you spent money on yourself first.
-
Parents said take it back because it was their money right? Yes do. You can buy it later with your Christmas money, when it goes on sale.
-
Everyone needs a little self indulgence but yes it is the right thing to buy christmas presents for others. I would probably take back half of what I bought and buy christmas presents.
-
HAHA!!! you men are all the same..my hubby does that too, and ends up buying DVDs Cd's etc that i already have for him..it always ends up causing arguments! No youre not hopeless, just a man lol..
-
Ha, I did that too, but a 'grand' scale I spent £1100 on clothes and shoes and only bought 1 present which was a £10 book! We are a bit hopeless but the important ting is that we have all the presents ready on the day!
-
The answer is YES. And the other hidden answer is I AM TOO.
-
It is much easier to know what YOU want than what other people want so it is selfish but forgivable unless it was a gift for me you did not get.
-
This is Christmas! This is the time to GIVE!! It was very selfish of you to buy things for yourself and not buy the gifts you were suppose to buy. Yes you should bring it all back and do what you are suppose to do!!
-
You know the right thing to do. If it was their money then you should take it back. Being a mom myself if my son did that and said he was sorry and that he would take it back I would prob. let him keep one piece. But, maybe I wouldn't to teach him a lesson. I do agree with the others- it was selfish. Merry Christmas! I hope it all works out for you.
