Help answer this question below.

At my school there was a fight, a cop got knocked out, and the fire alarm was pulled all in one day. Would you go to my high school, or does it sound too dangerous?

    If there was just this one small incident, and no guns or knives were used, I wouldn't worry. You can get killed going to church (as in Colorado this month) or at the Wal Mart store. I've read of kids being beat up out in front of their own house.

    No place is truly safe. If you are concerned, talk to your parents and the school administrators about what you can do to help be more safe.

    I homeschooled my sons and grandsons rather than send them out. We took advantage of an outreach program that allowed them to meet with a teacher twice a week for their assignments and to take the test. They avoided a lot of the problems that are found in public schools.

    ... I would do what I did ... drop out and take courses by corrispondence ... I am the only guy I know who is both a high school drop out and a holder of a Ph.D.!
