I put a pad and paper by my bed side , because I wake up with complete verses of songs / poetry that come to me in my sleep , have you ever done something like this before and what does it mean ? ( It's all natural and new lyrics )

Yes, I've done it for years. I think it's because the mind is still at work while we sleep. Some of my best stories have come from this as well.

I do this all the time, I write a lot of lyrics anyway but it seems my thoughts are more fluid and reflective around this 'resting time'. Except I tend to get them more when Im about to fall asleep rather than when I wake up. Some people beleive we kind of have our mental guard down do to speak at this time and this makes us more receptive to 'otherworldly messegas'!? I dont know but I take it as a gift!

I've done that on many occasions. I've come out with chapters of a novel doing that, as well as songs. I don't really know what it means, but dreams inspire many things...I wouldn't be surprised if that's how we get some of our best ideas.

I think that's great, just make sure you're not just settling for whatever you can plop down on the page. I get ideas for a lyric all the time, but coming back to them with new eyes helps sort out that sometimes things weren't really that good an idea in the first place.

I think that it is great. It is great to have a dream diary. No matter what the dream may be, it is great to write things down on a pad of paper. It sounds like you are a lover of music.

I Do So All The Time. I Always Have A Pad And A Pencil (i.e. I Prefer How Pencils Write To How Pens Do). I Eat Lunch With Paper, Sleep With Paper, Drive With Paper, And Use The Restroom With Paper. Its Amazing, The Randomness Of Inspiration.
