  • Yep. We even have a toaster. OOOOOOOOOOOOH!
  • They don't have to, no. It's just a nice gesture but isn't neccessary for them to do.
  • Almost nothing is required of employers. If your boss doesn't supply these things, get an insulated lunch tote, and pack sandwiches, salads or Yogurt that do not require reheating. http://www.lillianvernon.com/catalog/thumbnail.jsp?parentCatId=2&catId=12&subCatId=895&keyword=insulated%20lunch%20tote&source=overture Or get one of these: http://www.thinkawesome.com/thermoelectric-travel-chest.htm

  • No, I worked in an office for almost 4 years that didn't even have a sink for water. (There was a water fountain in the outside hall.) The employer saw a wide variety of clients everyday and didn't want the whole office smelling of food.
  • Legally an employer is not required to provide accomodations for you to store your food in or heat it up. Most employers however will provide those accomodations for their employees as a courtesy.
