I believe Mohammed was a false prophet.
Im not rying to affend anyone. But I have done research on him. I havent read much of the koran because it disturbs me. Our Father in heaven would never tell a man to beat his wife if she disobeys him. There is another part in the koran where it says that Mohammed turned red in the face with anger because the people were asking him to many questions, and he said "allah has hated you for asking too many questions." the way I look at that is he counldnt answer the questions and he got angry about it, and then he forbid people from asking to many questions. Jesus never got angry, and people were always asking him questions, and he answered with great wisdom, truth and paitence. Also Mohammed married a 6 year old girl and had sex with her by the age of 9. that is not right, I look at that as a very serious sexual perversion. So no Christians do not believe that mohammed had any importance, he is just a man who has lead millions away from the truth. JOHN 14:6-7 Jesus answered" I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well."

I am not trying to affend Muslims. I want you to ask the Father for Guidance. I want you to search for the truth. I know you were raised to believe in Mohhammed but sometimes you gotta search further than what you were taught. Its your salvation!!

    MATTHEW 7:7-8
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."

No. Muhammed melded several middle eastern pagan religions with some Judaism amd Christianity 600 years after the life of Jesus. He spread his new religion through war and conquered conversion. The Koran contains no prophecy, no revelation and no mention of God's love. In fact, the only way for a Muslim to be assured of heaven is to kill himself in the act of killing "infidels," or non-Muslims.

I can speak only for myself. No, I do not believe that Mohammed, who was simply a man, has the same importance as Jesus. Jesus is the greatest prophet who walked this earth but He is much more---Jesus is the Son of Yahweh God and Savior of any and all who accept Him.

    Trust in the lord,

your missing a very important point. the message of Muhammad-Jesus-Moses (peace be upon them all) were the same, to believe in one god. you say "muhammad pbuh didnt do any thing for you" you cant imagine how wrong you are. Through Muhammad pbuh god revealed his message for the last time. you ask why, if he already has revealed through other prophets, thats because the followers of Moses and Jesus change the word of god for their own needs. Jesus never claimed to be the son of god or god his father or the holy ghost/spirit. All those titles were given to him after he was lifted into the heavens. Don't believe me read your OWN history books don't take my word for it.

Muhammad pbuh is the last prophet of god as told by Jesus pbuh Moses pbuh and every prophet before them.

No Muslim has ever dis-respected Moses or Jesus peace be upon them, the way you people disrespect Muhammad pbuh.

Just one last thing. Think really hard about this.

if Islam is the wrong religion why is there more people converting to Islam then all other religions put together.

Don't take my word for it google it. CNN it or go to a church or a synagogue, if they are honest and informed, they will tell you.

Look at england, france, germany and other countries, there are more Masjids (Islam house of prayer) than any other religious prayer house.

by the way, "Allah-0-Akbar" means God is Great

    "Allah-0-Akbar"

The non-thinking non-questioning Christian clearly does NOT and will never do. To him Jesus is God and anyone not prepared to accept that is destined for hell. He's not prepared to consider that Jesus himself NEVER said he was God. So according to his logic Moses, Jesus and Mohammed are all destined for hell because none of them regarded Jesus as the God. Jesus clearly said in John 17:3 that the Father is "the ONLY true God"

If YOU really love Jesus then believe what he said about himself not what others said about him. Mohammed did and Muslims do.

Most of modern Christianity asserts that all prophecy ceased not long after the time of Christ.  On that basis alone, without even looking at the claimed content of any alleged prophecy, most of Christianity would reject the idea that Mohammed might have been a genuine prophet.

As a Mormon, I believe somewhat differently.  I believe, as stated in Amos 3:7, that God will always keep in touch with us by way of prophets, so long as there are enough of us who will heed them.  If prophecy ever ceased, it was not because God had no more to tell us, but because Mankind became arrogant and rebellious to the point that we refused to listen to his prophets.

I believe, also, that God did call a prophet in the early 19th century, and that he has called a continuous succession of prophets ever since.

It seems entirely possible to me that during the time from the end of recognized prophets in Christ's time, to the beginning of modern prophets in the early 19th century, that God may have occasionally called other prophets, whose revelations have either not been recorded, or have been distorted badly.

Mohammed would certainly be a good possible example of such a prophet.  I have significant disagreements with the Islamic religion, and with the prophecies attributed to Mohammed, as they have been recorded.  However, Mohammed was illiterate, as were all his contemporary followers, so for some generations, his alleged prophecies were passed down by word of mouth, before they were finally put into writing.  It usually does not take very many levels of something being passed along by word of mouth from one person to another to another… before it becomes so distorted as to be unrecognizable as having had anything to do with its original form.  In my opinion, it is entirely possible that Mohammed was a genuine prophet of God, and that his prophecies have been largely lost to such distortion.

No, Christians do not believe that Mohammed was a prophet and or had any importance. Mohammed founded the relegion of peace, love and compassion. He was the greatest man who ever lived. Many have accused him of copying the Holly Quran from the Bible, this is not true, proof is that at the time of Mohammed bpuh that Bibl wasnt even written in Arabic, so how could he copy it!? Even so, he was illeterate! HE didnt know how to read and write, how could he copy from the Bible?
Many have said that Mohammed pbuh is the comforter Jesus spoke of. In Greek, when Jesus said about the coming of the comforter, he caled him Paraclytos, Paraclytos means the praised one, the admired one. Paraclytos translated to Arabic is Mohammed! Thats what Mohammed means, the praised one, the admired one.

BIBLE PROPHECIES ABOUT THE ADVENT OF MUHAMMAD

Abraham is widely regarded as the Patriarch of monotheism and the common father of the Jews, Christians and Muslims. Through His second son, Isaac, came all Israelite prophets including such towering figures as Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon and Jesus. May peace and blessings be upon them all. The advent of these great prophets was in partial fulfillment of God's promises to bless the nations of earth through the descendents of Abraham (Genesis12:2-3).Such fulfillment is wholeheartedly accepted by Muslims whose faith considers the belief in and respect of all prophets an article of faith.

    BLESSINGS OF ISHMAEL AND ISAAC

    Was the first born son of Abraham (Ishmael) and his descendants included in God's covenant and promise? A few verses from the Bible may help shed some light on this question;

    1) Genesis 12:2-3 speaks of God's promise to Abraham and his descendants before any child was born to him.

    2) Genesis 17:4 reiterates God's promise after the birth of Ishmael and before the birth of Isaac.

    3) In Genesis, ch. 21. Isaac is specifically blessed but Ishmael was also specifically blessed and promised by God to become "a great nation" especially in Genesis 21:13, 18.

    4) According to Deuteronomy 21:15-17 the traditional rights and privileges of the first born son are not to be affected by the social status of his mother (being a "free" woman such as Sarah, Isaac's mother, or a "Bondwoman" such as Hagar, Ishmael's mother). This is only consistent with the moral and humanitarian principles of all revealed faiths.

    5) The full legitimacy of Ishmael as Abraham's son and "seed" and the full legitimacy of his mother, Hagar, as Abraham's wife are clearly stated in Genesis 21:13 and 16:3. After Jesus, the last Israelite messenger and prophet, it was time that God's promise to bless Ishmael and his descendants be fulfilled. Less than 600years after Jesus, came the last messenger of God, Muhammad, from the progeny of Abraham through Ishmael. God's blessing of both of the main branches of Abraham's family tree was now fullfilled. But are there additional corroborating evidence that the Bible did in fact foretell the advent of prophet Muhammad?

    MUHAMMAD:
    The Prophet Like Unto Moses

Long time after Abraham, God's promise to send the long-awaited Messenger was repeated this time in Moses' words.
In Deuteronomy 18:18, Moses spoke of the prophet to be sent by God who is:

    1) From among the Israelite's "brethren", a reference to their Ishmaelite cousins as Ishmael was the other son of Abraham who was explicitly promised to become a "great nation".

    2) A prophet like unto Moses. There were hardly any two prophets ,who were so much alike as Moses and Muhammad. Both were given comprehensive law code of life, both encountered their enemies and were victors in miraculous ways, both were accepted as prophets/statesmen and both migrated following conspiracies to assassinate them. Analogies between Moses and Jesus overlooks not only the above similarities but other crucial ones as well (e.g. the natural birth, family life and death of Moses and Muhammad but not of Jesus, who was regarded by His followers as the Son of God and not exclusively a messenger of God, as Moses and Muhammad were and as Muslim belief Jesus was).

THE AWAITED PROPHET WAS TO COME FROM ARABIA

Deuteronomy 33:1-2 combines references to Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. It speaks of God (i.e. God's revelation) coming from Sinai, rising from Seir (probably the village of Sa'ir near Jerusalem) and shining forth from Paran. According to Genesis 21:21, the wilderness of Paran was the place where Ishmael settled (i.e. Arabia, specifically Mecca).

Indeed the King James version of the Bible mentions the pilgrims passing through the valley of Ba'ca (another name of Mecca) in Psalms 84:4-6.

Isaiah 42:1-13 speaks of the beloved of God. His elect and messenger who will bring down a law to be awaited in the isles and who "shall not fail nor be discouraged till he have set judgement on earth." Verse 11, connects that awaited one with the descendants of Ke'dar. Who is Ke'dar? According to Genesis 25:13, Ke'dar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of prophet Muhammad.

MUHAMMAD'S MIGRATION FROM MECCA TO MEDINA:
    PROPHECIED IN THE BIBLE?

Habakkuk 3:3 speaks of God (God's help) coming from Te'man (an Oasis North of Medina according to J. Hasting's Dictionary of the Bible), and the holy one (coming) from Paran. That holy one who under persecution migrated from Paran (Mecca) to be received enthusiastically in Medina was none but prophet Muhammad.
Indeed the incident of the migration of the prophet and his persecuted followers is vividly described in Isaiah 21:13-17. That section foretold as well about the battle of Badr in which the few ill-armed faithful miraculously defeated the "mighty" men of Ke'dar, who sought to destroy Islam and intimidate their own folks who turned -to Islam.

THE QUR'AN (KORAN) FORETOLD IN THE BIBLE?

For twenty-three years, God's words (the Qur'an) were truely put into Muhammad's mouth. He was not the "author" of the Qur'an. The Qur'an was dictated to him by Angel Gabriel who asked Muhammad to simply repeat the words of the Qur'an as he heard them. These words were then committed to memory and to writing by those who hear them during Muhammad's life time and under his supervision.

Was it a coincidence that the prophet "like unto Moses" from the "brethren" of the Israelites (i.e. from the lshmaelites) was also described as one in whose mouth God will put his words and that he will speak in the name of God, (Deuteronomy 18:18-20). Was it also a coincidence the "Paraclete" that Jesus foretold to come after Him was described as one who "shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak (John 16:13)

Was it another coincidence that Isaiah ties between the messenger connected with Ke'dar and a new song (a scripture in a new language) to be sang unto the Lord (Isaiah 42:10-11). More explicitly, prophesies Isaiah "For with stammering lips, and another tongue, will he speak to this people" (Isaiah 28:11). This latter verse correctly describes the "stammering lips" of Prophet Muhammad reflecting the state of tension and concentration he went through at the time of revelation. Another related point is that the Qur'an was revealed in piece-meals over a span of twenty three years. It is interesting to compare this with Isaiah 28:10 whichspeaks of the same thing.

    THAT PROPHET- PARACLETE- MUHAMMAD

Up to the time of Jesus (peace be upon him), the Israelites were still awaiting for that prophet like unto Moses prophecied in Deuteronomy 18:18. When John the Baptist came, they asked him if he was Christ and he said "no". They asked him if he was Elias and he said "no". Then, in apparent reference to Deuteronomy 18:18, they asked him "Art thou that Prophet" and he answered, "no". (John 1: 1 9-2 1).

In the Gospel according to John (Chapters 14, 15, 16) Jesus spoke of the "Paraclete" or comforter who will come after him, who will be sent by Father as another Paraclete, who will teach new things which the contemporaries of Jesus could not bear. While the Paraclete is described as the spirit of truth, (whose meaning resemble Muhammad's famous title Al-Amin, the trustworthy), he is identified in one verse as the Holy Ghost (John 14:26). Such a designation is however inconsistent with the profile of that Paraclete. In the words of the Dictionary of the Bible, (Ed. J. Mackenzie) "These items, it must be admitted do not give an entirely coherent picture."

Indeed history tells us that many early Christians understood the Paraclete to be a man and not a spirit. This might explain the followings who responded to some who claimed, without meeting the criteria stipulated by Jesus, to be the awaited "Paraciete".

It was Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who was the Paraclete, Comforter, helper, admonisher sent by God after Jesus. He testified of Jesus, taught new things which could not be borne at Jesus' time, he spoke what he heard (revelation), he dwells with the believers (through his well-preserved teachings). Such teachings will remain forever because he was the last messenger of God, the only Universal Messenger to unite the whole of humanity under God and on the path of PRESERVED truth. He told of many things to come which "came to pass" in the minutest detail meeting, the criterion given by Moses to distinguish between the true prophet and the false prophets (Deuteronomy 18:22). He did reprove the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgement (John 16:8-11)

WAS THE SHIFT OF RELIGIOUS LEADERSHIP PROPHECIED?

Following the rejection of the last Israelite prophet, Jesus, it was about time that God's promise to make Ishmael a great nation be fulfilled (Genesis 21:13, 18)

In Matthew 21:19-21, Jesus spoke of the fruitless fig tree (A Biblical symbol of prophetic heritage) to be cleared after being given a last chance of three years (the duration of Jesus' ministry) to give fruit. In a later verse in the same chapter, Jesus said: "Therefore, say I unto you, The Kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruit thereof" (Matthew 21:43). That nation of Ishmael's descendants (the rejected stone in Matthew 21:42) which was victorious against all super-powers of its time as prophecied by Jesus: "And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken, but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder" (Matthew 21:44).

    OUT OF CONTEXT COINCIDENCE?

Is it possible that the numerous prophecies cited here are all individually and combined out of context misinterpretations? Is the opposite true, that such infrequently studied verses fit together consistently and clearly point to the advent of the man who changed the course of human history, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Is it reasonable to conclude that all these prophecies, appearing in different books of the Bible and spoken by various prophets at different times were all coincidence? If this is so here is another strange "coincidence"!

One of the signs of the prophet to come from Paran (Mecca) is that he will come with "ten thousands of saints" (Deuteronomy 33:2 KJV). That was the number of faithful who accompanied Prophet Muhammad to Paran (Mecca) in his victorious, bloodless return to his birthplace to destroy the remaining symbols of idolatry in the Ka'bah.

Says God as quoted by Moses:
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. (Deuteronomy 18:19)

    Dear Readers:
May the light of truth shine in your heart and mind. May it lead you to peace and certitude in this life and eternal bliss in hereafter.

Good question. No, Christians who understand the historicity of the Bible do not credit Mohammed with anything other than writing the Qur'an, which became the holy book of Islam. I, as a Christian, am reading the Qur'an myself to contrast it to the Bible. Honestly, the Qur'an borrows heavily from the Bible but ultimately distorts many of the historical facts. (For example, The Qur'an hijacks characters from the Bible including Abraham, Jesus, and Moses and makes them Islamic. All of history shows that Abraham, Jesus, and Moses were Jewish. The Qur'an speaks out against Jews and Christians repeatedly.)

The Qur'an was written by ONE person, in a 23 year period, over SIX CENTURIES after the last book of the Bible. The Bible was written over a 1600 year period, by over 40 authors, which included contemporaries of Jesus Himself. Which is more credible? The books that were written by those that included Jesus' followers and contemporaries. They who had personally met Jesus (including Matthew, John, Peter, and then Paul by a post-ascension appearance) wrote the New Testament. Six centuries later, Muhammad had no direct contact with Jesus.

When you read the Bible, you will see a lot of internal references to other works in the Bible. This proves consistency because the people who were documenting the history, were validating the other historical figures in Scripture (e.g., Jesus referred to Moses, Jonah; Peter referred to Paul; David who wrote the Psalms was the same David described in 1 and 2 Samuel). There are internal consistencies in the Bible, not the Qur'an-- except that the Qur'an was written by only one person.
The 40+ authors of the Bible described lands and peoples that could be validated by archaeology. the Qur'an, at best borrowed from the Bible, second-hand, and drew its own isolated conclusions.

In summary, Christians recognize the Bible as THE authentic message from God and the Qur'an as a second-hand, man-made borrowing from the Bible. No true prophet would borrow from another source, he would get his message straight from God. The Qur'an (which I am reading for myself), does not evidence anything more than a measure of (with all due respect) plagiarism from the Bible. Muhammad is a false prophet.

Mohammed lived several hundred years after the scriptures were written and even edited. So, since he claimed that Jesus wasn't son of god and that he had updated info from god, Christians would have to consider him a heretic.

Muhammad accepted Jesus as a prophet, so he claimed , but he did not accept Jesus's words. Jesus prophesied that he was going to be killed but Muhammad said Jesus was never killed.
Muhammad accepted Isaiah and Daniel as prophets, so he claimed, but he did not accept their words. Both Isaiah and Daniel said the messiah would be killed but Muhammad said Jesus was not killed.
Muhammad could not differentiate Satan from God.
Muhammad says Ishmael was a prophet. What did Ishmael prophesied?

Islam is the Catholics of the east. They plunder and killed people who opposed them. After Jesus came and established peace to mankind, then came Muhammad telling Muslims to kill the people of the book (Jesus's people) During the Dark Ages the catholic church came in the name of Jesus ( using Jesus as a facade )to deviate from the truth, and to prosecute YAH's people.

The burden of proof is upon Muhammad not on Jesus. Jesus didnot believe in Muhammad, Muhammad believe in Jesus.

Since Islam is a derivative religion, it had to pay lip service to Christianity and Judaism. The latter religions have no such obligation so they can safely ignore Mohamed.

I am answering as an outside observer and do not support any of these religions. I know that Christians will just say that he's a false prophet. Personally, I don't believe that there is any such thing as a real prophet.

Almost all of the "proofs" that prophets are accurate occur in the same book in which the prophecies are published. Either that or they are retroactively "proved" when an event occurs.

No - because Mohammed came after Jesus, same way Jesus doesn't feature in Judaism, because he came later.

When Christianity was founded, Islam didn't exist, and Mohammed wasn't born for another 600+ years, there was therefore no way he could be included in the Christian religion.

Islam, came after Christianity, and is based around the same one god, and has people like Mary, Arch Angel Gabriel, Adam and Eve, in it, and acknowledges both Christianity and Judaism.

If a new religion sprung from Islam today, they would acknowledge Mohammed but Islam would not acknowlege the new religion - and this has happened in Pakistan - with the Ahmsdiyya religion - see the link:

Sure, the Prophet has substance. His work has substance. Its unfortunate that the militants like to expand on the meaning of the words. and use those new definitions to base their militant thinking on. Jesus was not a Muslim. He was and is a Jew.

Christians (I'm not one) do not believe that Mohammad was a prophet. Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the Savior and, aside from calling him a prophet, do not accord him all that much respect. Consider, for example, the phrase 'the one true prophet' which is used by Muslims to describe Mohammad.

I would like to point out two lines from Quran.

In that Allah, almighty asking, if Christians believes Jesus is the Lord/Sun of God, why he didnt came before Abrahath, ehy he did not come for those human who lived here in this world before Jesus???

You believe, since Jesus didnt marry or didnt hav any children, that added to his holiness,
then Y, the almighty should have a son....

In Quran, Allah says I am much higher/greater/Purer than having a child.....

The Promised PROPHET in the Bible! Part (2)

    (see Part (1) here http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/7356711)

If you read throughly the passages of [Isaiah 42:1-12] you'll find that they describe that promised ONE, the servant of God, The final messenger.

I will go with you through the passages of [Isaiah 42:1-12] one by one. I will start now with the first passage.

1 "Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles." [Isaiah 42:1]

Here God speaks about the greatest prophet (The praised one) who promised to send to mankind.
We will examine the descriptions of this prophet as told by God and we will see that these descriptions fit no other prophet but prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

(1)-'my sevant'= servant or SLAVE of God.

Always prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to refer to himself as a slave of Allah and his messenger:

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Do not glorify me in the same manner as the Christians glorify Jesus, son of Mary, but say,'He is a slave of Allah and His Messenger.' "

Allah (God) also called him my slave in the Quran:

" And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Quran) to Our slave (Muhammad (peace be upon him) then produce a Surah (Chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allah, if you are truthful." [The Noble Quran 2: 23]

(2)-'mine elect'= one chosen (elect) by God

One of the other known names of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Arabic is 'Al Mustafa' which means the one chosen (elect) by God =(mine elect).

(3)-'whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him:'

    Allah in the Quran says:

"Allah sends His Salat (Graces, Honors, Blessings, Mercy) on the Prophet (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) and also His angels (ask Allah to bless and forgive him). O you who believe! Send your Salat on (ask Allah to bless) him (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) and (you should) greet (salute) him with the Islamic way of greeting (salutation i.e. As-Salamu 'Alaikum). " [The Noble Quran 33: 56]

Also Allah says about prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):

"And verily, for you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) will be an endless reward.
And verily, you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) are on an exalted standard of character."
    [The Noble Quran 68: 4]

(4)-'he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles'

" And so judge (you O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) among them by what Allah has revealed and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they turn you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) far away from some of that which Allah has sent down to you. And if they turn away, then know that Allah's Will is to punish them for some sins of theirs. And truly, most of men are Fasiqun (rebellious and disobedient to Allah)."
    [The Noble Quran 5: 49]

The explanation of [Isaiah 42:1-12] continues.

In [Isaiah 42:1-12] God speaks about the greatest prophet (The praised one) who promised to send to mankind.
We will examine the descriptions of this prophet as told by God and we will see that these descriptions fit no other prophet but prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

I will try to explain now the second passage.

2 " He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.." [Isaiah 42:2]

    'He shall not cry'

According to the authentic biography of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as the prophet (PBUH) never burst out laughing, so he never used to cry with sound, but his blessed eyes would shed tears and the sound of his blessed chest would be heard. He used to weep when thinking of the sins of his Nation [that is, Muslims], and he used to weep out of fear of Allah. He also wept when he heard the Noble Quran and, sometimes, when performing prayers.

'nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.'

In the authentic biography of the Prophet (PBUH), Ali ibn abi Talib described prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as follows:

"He was not vulgar nor did he condone vulgarity, and he was not one to shout in the market place. He did not reward evil with evil, rather, he would forgive and overlook. He never in his life struck anything with his hand except when he was fighting in the name of Allah. He never struck a servant nor a woman, and I never saw him taking revenge for an injustice dealt him, except if the prohibitions of Allah were transgressed. For if the prohibitions of Allah were transgressed he was among the strongest of them in anger. He was never given a choice between two matters but he chose the simplest of the two. If he entered into his home he was a man like any other; cleaning his own garment, milking his own goat, and serving himself.
He would guard his tongue from that which did not concern him. He would attract them (the people) and not repel them. He would ennoble the noble of the people and charge them with their affairs. He was wary of the people and guarded himself against them but without depriving them a warm smile or fitting conduct. He would inquire after his companions and would ask the people about their affairs. He would encourage that which was good and strengthen it, and he would discourage that which was evil and undermine it. He was balanced and consistent. He would never be neglectful that they would not learn neglect and grow indifferent...."

So, as can any honest person see that the description of [Isaiah 42:2] fits prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 100%.

The explanation of [Isaiah 42:1-12] continues.

Reminder: In [Isaiah 42:1-12] God speaks about the greatest prophet (The praised one) who promised to send to mankind.
We will examine the descriptions of this prophet as told by God and we will see that these descriptions fit no other prophet but prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

This time, I will try to explain the third and fourth passages.

    [Isaiah 42:3-4]
3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

For the first thirteen weary years of his prophet-hood in Makkah (Mecca), prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him),with no power in his hand, had struggled firmly as no made ever had against all the brutal aggressions of the Meccans. They kept attacking him personally, propagating horrible negative lies against him, and put him with his followers and close family under a very harsh starvation siege for three long years. They even planned and tried to kill him while he was asleep in his house but they couldn't. Until they forced him to leave Makkah (Mecca) to Maddinah (against their will). The battles with the Meccans continued against heavy odds until such time that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) entered Mecca victorious as a King after a struggle of several years. Ten thousands of his Muslim companions accompanied him.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the only prophet who claimed to have brought a universal and perfect law. The Holy Quran says:
"Today We (Allah) have perfected your religion for you and completed Our favor upon you." (The Holy Quran 5:4)

Prophet Muhummad (PBUH)has the prerogative of inflicting capital punishment. He had the power of life and death over his people. He brought forth judgment unto truth.

Prophet Muhummad (PBUH) comes to a people steeped in barbarism and ignorance. They married their step-mothers; they buried their daughters alive; drunkenness, adultery, idolatry, and gambling were the order of the day. "From this abject barbarism, Muhummed elevated them. in the words of Thomas Carlysle, "into torch-bearers of light and learning.''TO THE ARAB NATION IT WAS AS A BIRTH FROM DARKNESS INTO LIGHT. ARABIA FIRST BECAME ALIVE BY MEANS OF IT. A POOR SHEPHERD PEOPLE, ROAMING UNNOTICED IN ITS DESERTS SINCE THE CREATION OF THE WORLD. SEE, THE UNNOTICED BECOMES WORLD NOTABLE, THE SMALL HAS GROWN WORLD-GREAT. WITHIN ONE CENTURY AFTERWARDS ARABIA WAS AT GRANADA ON ONE HAND AND AT DELHI ON THE OTHER. GLANCING IN VALOUR AND SPLENDOUR, AND THE LIGHT OF GENIUS, ARABIA SHINES OVER A GREAT SECTION OF THE WORLD...."

The fact is that prophet Muhummad (PBUH) gave his people a Law and Order they never had before.

Again, we see how clearly has the prophecy of [Isaiah 42:3-4] been fulfilled in the person of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in all of its details.

    Part (4) http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/7356900

The explanation of [Isaiah 42:1-12] continues.

This time, I am going to explain the following verses:[Isaiah 42:5-7] by quoting from the Quran what Allah had revealed to his messenger, Muhammad (PBUH) and compare those with the descriptions of the promised prophet mentioned in [Isiah 42:5-7]:

(*)[Isiah 42:5]: Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

This verse is in complete agreement with the following Quranic verses:

"Who has made the earth a resting place for you, and the sky as a canopy, and sent down water (rain) from the sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you. Then do not set up rivals unto Allah (in worship) while you know (that He Alone has the right to be and made them seven heavens and He is the All-Knower of everything." [The Noble Quran 2: 21-22]

"Is not He (Allah)(better than your gods) Who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water (rain) from the sky, whereby We cause to grow wonderful gardens full of beauty and delight? It is not in your ability to cause the growth of their trees. Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Nay, but they are a people who ascribe equals (to Him)!" [The Noble Quran 27: 60]

"He (Allah) has created the heavens without any pillars that you see, and has set on the earth firm mountains lest it should shake with you. And He has scattered therein moving (living) creatures of all kinds. And We send down water (rain) from the sky, and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein." [The Noble Quran 31: 10]
    =====

    (*)[Isiah 42:5]: I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

This verse states that God would protect this promised prophet and would send with him a light (guidance) to the Gentiles. In the following verse, Allah (God) had promised to protect his prophet Muhammad(PBUH) and to make his message (Islam) superior over all religions.

    Allah will protect you:

" O Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him))! Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you do not, then you have not conveyed His Message. Allah will protect you from mankind. Verily, Allah guides not the people who disbelieve." [Quran 5: 67]

Allah promised to make His religion (Islam) superior over all religions:

"It is He (Allah) Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam), to make it superior over all religions even though the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) hate (it)." [Quran 9: 32-33]

The light sent with the promised prophet:

"They (the disbelievers, the Jews and the Christians) want to extinguish Allah's Light (with which Muhammad (peace be upon him) has been sent - Islamic Monotheism) with their mouths, but Allah will not allow except that His LIGHT should be perfected even though the Kafirun (disbelievers) hate (it)." [Quran 9: 32]

"O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over (i.e. leaving out without explaining) much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a LIGHT (Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)) and a plain Book (this Quran)." [Quran 5: 15].

The promised prophet had been sent among the 'Gentiles'(the non-Jews or/and the unlettered ones):

"He (Allah) it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Quran, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him))And verily, they had been before in manifest error;" [Quran 62: 2]

And the promised prophet had been sent to all mankind (all peoples including Gentiles):

"And We (Allah) have sent you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) not but as a mercy for the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)." [Quran 21: 107]
    ========

(*)[Isiah 42:7]: To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

The promised prophet would guide the people from the darkness of ignorance into the light of Tuth.

Allah in the Quran states that He sent His messenger Muhammad (PBUH) to bring people out from darkness into light:

"It is He (Allah) Who sends down manifest Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to His slave (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) that He may bring you out from darkness into light. And verily, Allah is to you full of kindness, Most Merciful."
    [Quran 57: 8-9]

"(And has also sent to you) a Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) who recites to you the Verses of Allah (the Quran) containing clear explanations, that He may take out those who believe and do righteous good deeds from the darkness (of polytheism and disbelief) to the light (of Monotheism). And whosoever believes in Allah and performs righteous good deeds, He will admit him into Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. Allah has indeed granted for him an excellent provision." [Quran 65: 11]

    JESUS-IS-MUSLIM

The Promised PROPHET in the Bible! (Part 1)

Seal of The Prophets: The Awaited Promised Prophet!

"Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last (seal) of the prophets. And ever is Allah, of all things, Knowing." [The Noble Quran 33:40]

    INTRODUCTION:

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) brought to our attention that these books (NT & OT) still contain some truth, He said:

{When you ask them (Jews & Christians) about anything if they tell you the truth do not call it a lie, and when they tell you lies do not believe in it}.

In other words, if the previous books (The Bible) contain information, that match verses of the Holy Quran, and the tradition of Muhammad (PBUH), then this is proof that, it is true and has not been altered.“The Unbelievers say: "No apostle art thou." Say: "Enough for a witness between me and you is Allah, and such as have knowledge of the Book.”(Quran, Al-Ra'd: 43).

    As an example:

Jesus (peace be upon him) said in the bible:

[KJV][Jn.17.3]: "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent."

[Mar 12:29]: Jesus answered, "The most important is,'Hear, O Israel, the Lord OUR God is ONE Lord”(Bible)

This following conversation will happen in the Judgment Day as told by Allah in the Quran:

"And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): "O 'Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men:'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?' " He will say: "Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my inner-self though I do not know what is in Yours; truly, You, only You, are the All-Knower of all that is hidden (and unseen)."

"Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allah) did command me to say:'Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.' And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them; and You are a Witness to all things.(This is a great admonition and warning to the Christians of the whole world)."
    [Quran 5: 116-117].

In spite of the alterations made to the Bible, it still contains many prophecies that foretell the arrival of the "Final/Promised Prophet". It has been almost 2000 years since Jesus (PBUH) came to this earth; yet, these prophecies have not been fulfilled; therefore, we ask when will it be? To claim that these prophecies are still to come, as the years go by, is to reduce the credibility of the Bible to its readers.

The real question is do Christians believe that Islam is not a religion, more so a religion of God?
The underlying objective of all faiths is to promote good and fight evil. God through the Bible and the Quran is very specific in his approach to liberate and protect the human being from evil.
First of all, we are all sons of Adam. The idea of the story of Adam being the first and most important in our existance as humans is that human beings are inclined to make mistakes, to fall into evil and ultimateley the gate to God is always open for repentance and forgiveness. We do not account for a mistake that is not our own, and we certainly shouldn't live our lives on this basis or die for this cause. Adam did not commit murder, he ate from a tree that was forbidden to him. He happened to be in heaven at that time, and his punishment for his disobedience was to reside on earth for a short time. How was Adam, this new creation, supposed to learn if not from HIS OWN mistake? How was he to learn of Gods glory, His merciful nature, and his authority over all things if it was not to be tested? Was this not a lesson for all human kind to reflect on forever as God is eternal? So now humankind learns that Good always prevails over Evil.
Second, God does not forbid something unless it was bad for you. Not because he needs the credit, or that it will affect him in anyway; but to liberate the human and teach him to live a life of peace and happiness. For example, Islam forbids Alchohol, Gambling, and food that are impure that carry diseases. Islam teaches women to dress modestly to prevent sexualisation that can undermine her. We have seen the amounts of death and distruction Alchohol and Gambing can bring. So the Quran takes a complete prevention approach and we all know "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". Islam teaches us that one should pray atleast 5 times a day, this is not to empower God, he doesn't need our prayers. This is for rememberance, the Quran mentions "Remember, for remembarance will benefit YOU". If we hold God close to our thoughts and hearts constantly, HOW CAN WE GO WRONG? how can we do evil if God is constantly before us and in our minds.
Thirdly, the Quran and the teachings of the Profit have been proven to cause a revolution the same way people were touched by the words and teachings of Jesus Christ, Moses, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, and many more religious influential men that came before. So why does Jesus alone serve this distinction when he has delivered the same message. That God is true, God is great, God is merciful, God is Just. In Islam God has 99 names and not just one. He is absolute and cannot be descibed in one simple word. He deserves all praises in every form and He is above all things. These are teachings of Islam A RELIGION that deserves to be recognised.

Jesus Christ was sent only for the house of the lost sheep of Israel. His message should be followed for a particular time period. Quran says, in Surah Al-Imran 3:49, that jesus was sent for the bani israel, the children of israel. A similar message is found in the bible, in the Gospel of Matthew, 10:5-6, where Jesus Christ (pbuh) says to his apostles, " Go ee Not Into The Way Of The Gentiles (Non-Jews), enter not into the city of the Samiritins, but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of israel."

However, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was not sent to the Arabs or the Muslims, in fact it is mentioned in THE GLORIOUS QURAN, 21:107,"We Have Not Sent Thee (Muhammad) But As A Mercy To The Worlds".

If you read in THE BOOK OF DEUTRONOMY 18:18 " I Shall Raise Thee Up A Prophet, From Among Thy Brethren, like unto thee (Moses), And I Shall Put My Words Into His Mouth, And He Shall Speak All That I Command Him."

This Prophet should be like Moses (pbuh), Should be amongst his brethren.

Christians say that this prophecy is about Jesus. They say that since Moses was a Jew and so was Jesus, this has to be about Jesus. If this is the criteria's, then all the prophets in the bible fullfill the prophecy, and not only Jesus, like Solomon, Ezekeil, Isiah, Daniel, John The Baptist, Joel, etc. All of these Prphets fulfill the prophecy, yet christians say no, its jesus.

Hoever, This Prophecy befits no one better than Prohet Muhamad (pbuh). Both Moses and Muhammad were born naturally.Moses and Muhammad married and had children. Both of them died naturally. Both of them were accepted by their people as a whole. Both of them gave capital punishments. Both of them are more similar than Moses and Jesus, for Jesus was born a miraculous birth, had no children and wife, not accepted by the jews, was raised up alive into heaven, and could not give capital punishment. So if we analyze, Prophet Muhammad was an Ismaelite, amongst the brethren of Moses (pbuh). This Prophecy is talking about Prohet Muhamad (pbuh), the last and final messenger of Almighty God.

    salamu alaikum.

In answer to Jesus- is- a- Muslim

“You are in error because you do not know the scriptures or the power of God" - Matthew 22:29

Luke 12:49-51 interprets Matthew 10:34-36. The sword mentioned in Matthew 10:34 is a metaphor for conflicts. The disbeliefs of many will cause conflicts, division and persecution. Guess what? That's exactly what happened: Early Christians were killed for their beliefs at the hands of both Jews and the Roman Empire. Even today Christians are persecuted in the Muslim world because of their faith.

Luke 19:27 is a verse from a parable (a story) this is not about Jesus (read previous verses)

Jesus did NOT kill anyone or teach his disciples to kill, instead he teaches:
Luke 6:35 "But love your enemies, and do good,..."
Matthew 5:9 "Blessed are the peace makers, for they will be called sons of God"
Mark 12:31 "...thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself"

John 2:15 - Jesus was vexed with the people in the temple but he did no harm to them. What he did was for their own good.

Luke 22:36 - The sword is a weapon of combat. Jesus was telling his disciples it was time to fight the fight of faith; armed themselves for the war ahead, not physically but mentally and spiritually. Noticed when Peter drew his sword Jesus told him to put it back (Matthew 26: 52). The war is not physical because we are not up against human beings, but against spiritual wickedness in high places. The same disciple who drew the sword later admonished, “Do not repay evil for evil or insult for insult, but with blessings”
Ephesians 6: 11- “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wile of the devil”
1 Peter 5:8- “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

According to Quran, Muhammad, when in doubt, was to turn to the people who read the scriptures, that was, before him. His message was supposed to be consistent with the message of the prophets before him, including Jesus- S.10:94-95, S.42:15, S.43:43-45, S.6:89-90.

While Jesus told us to “turn the other cheek,” Muhammad was telling his followers to kill people.
Muhammad’s biggest mistake is his acceptance of Jesus as a prophet.

What did Jesus say about Muhammad?
John 8: 44- “You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him…”

    Part (5) http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/7356919

The explanation of [Isaiah 42:1-12] continues.

Reminder: In [Isaiah 42:1-12] God speaks about the greatest prophet (The praised one) who promised to send to mankind.
We will examine the descriptions of this prophet as told by God and we will see that these descriptions fit no other prophet but prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

In this last part 5 of my explanation (interpretation), I will go through verses 9 to 12 and would show that the descriptions stated in those verses exactly without any doubt fit prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

    [Isaiah 42:9-10]
9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

What is this 'new song' mentioned & prophesized by the above verse? The promised Prophet would be sent with a 'new song' that would circle around the word all days. Now, before finding what this 'new song' happens to be, let us summarize its descriptions:
(1)It is a NEW song: New & sounds beautiful like a song.
(2)It is a praise of God
(3)It would circle around the word every day: Be heard around the word every day.

Without any doubt, I can claim that this 'NEW SONG' is the Islamic PRAYER CALL (Athan). First, I invite you to hear it and discover how beautiful it sounds (just like a song!). Listen to it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipmnPfD_WLg

Athan (prayer call) is recited in a loud voice by the Muazzin facing the direction of the Ka'ba in the following words, which are said in the order mentioned:

"Allahu Akbar" - recited FOUR times.

Meaning, "Allah is Most Great."(four times)

"Ash-hadu an la ilaha ill-Allah" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "I bear witness that there is none worthy of being worshipped except Allah."(twice)

"Ash-hadu anna Muhammad-an-Rasoolu Allah" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah."(recited twice)

"Hayya 'alas-Salah" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "Come to prayer."(turning the face alone to the right and saying it twice)

"Hayya 'alal-falah" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "Come to Success."(turning the face alone to the left and saying it twice)

"Allahu Akbar" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "Allah is Most Great" (face back to front and saying it two times).

"La ilaha ila Allah" - recited ONE time.

Meaning "There is none worthy of being worshipped except Allah"

    Morning (Fajr) Prayers
The following phrase is added after "Hayya 'alal-falah" in the Azan of the early morning prayers:

"As-salatu khairum minannaum" - recited Two times.

Meaning, "Prayer is better than sleep" (recited two times).

First, any one can conclude that this Islamic Prayer call is a 'NEW SONG' because it's unique and it did not exsit in any religion before Islam. It sounds very beautiful when it is recited, just like a beautiful 'song'. Second, it's composed of words that praise Allah (God). Therefore, it fits 100% the first two elements of descriptions mentioned in [Isaiah 42:10].

Next, we will show the amazing fact about how it fits the third and last element of description for that prophesized 'NEW SONG'!

I would like to remind the reader that the third and last description of the prophesized 'NEW SONG' is:(3)It would circle around the word every day: Be heard around the word every day.

[Isaiah 42:10] Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

To support my claim that this amazingly fits the Islamic Prayer Call (Athan or Azaan).
100%, I will borrow an article written by: By Shahid Bin Waheed.

    'AZAAN'- An Amazing Miracle!

Azaan: is an incredible medium for the proclamation of Tawheed (Oneness of God) of Almighty Allaah and Risalaat (Prophethood) of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, this Islaamic prayer call (sounding words) to Muslims, which constantly echoes around the globe five times every day.

Amazing though it sounds, but fortunately for the Muslims of the world, it is an established fact. Have a look at a map of the world and you will find Indonesia (an Islaamic country) right on the eastern side of the earth. Indonesia consists of numerous small islands, the principle ones amongst them being Java, Sumatra, Borneo and Saibil, all of which are well known. It is the largest country in the world, with 180 million inhabitants.

As soon as dawn breaks on the eastern side of Saibil, at approximately 5:30 am local time, Fajr Azaan begins. Thousands of Muâazzins in eastern Indonesia commence proclaiming the Tawheed (oneness) of the Almighty, Omnipotent and Omniscient Allaah and Risalaat (Universal Apostleship) of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam.

The process then continues and advances towards the Western Islands of Indonesia. The time difference between the eastern and western islands of Indonesia is one and a half hours. Hence, one and a half hours after the Azaan has been completed in Saibil, it echoes in Jakarta on Java Island. Sumatra then follows suit and before this auspicious process of calling Azaan ends in Indonesia, it has already begun in Malaysia. Burma is next in line, and within an hour of its commencement in Jakarta, it reaches Dacca, the capital city of Bangladesh. No sooner the calling of Azaan ends in Bangladesh, it has already prevailed in western India, from Calcutta to Srinagar. It then advances towards Bombay and the environment of entire India resounds with this august proclamation.

Srinagar and Sialkot (a city in north Pakistan) have the same timing for Azaan. The time difference between Sialkot, Kota, Karachi and Gowadar (a city in Baluchistan, a province of Pakistan) is forty minutes, and within this time, Fajr (Dawn) Azaan is heard throughout Pakistan. Before it ends there, however, it has already begun in Afghanistan and Muscat. The time difference between Muscat and Baghdad is one hour. Azaan resounds during this one hour in the environments of Hijaaz-e-Muqaddas (Holy cities of Makkah and Madinah), Yemen, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Iraq.

The time difference between Baghdad and Alexandria in Egypt is again one hour. Azaan continues to resound in Syria, Egypt, Somalia and Sudan during this hour. Alexandria and Istanbul are situated on the same geographical longitude. The time difference between eastern and western Turkey is one and a half hours, and during this time it is echoed with the call to prayer.

Alexandria and Tripoli (capital of Libya) are located at an hour of difference from one another. The process of calling Azaan thus continues throughout the whole of Africa. Therefore, the proclamation of the Oneness of Allaah and the Prophethood of Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam that had begun in the eastern islands of Indonesia reaches the Eastern Shore of the Atlantic Ocean after nine and a half hours.

Prior to the Azaan reaching the shores of the Atlantic, the process of Zohar Azaan has already commenced in eastern Indonesia, and before it reaches Dacca, Asar Azaan has started. This has hardly reached Jakarta one and half hours later, and then the time of Maghrib becomes due, and no sooner has Maghrib time reached Sumatra, then the time for calling Isha Azaan has commenced in Saibil! When the Muâazzins of Indonesia are calling out Fajr Azaan, the Muâazzins in Africa are calling out the Azaan for Isha.

If we were to ponder over this phenomenon seriously and studiously, we would conclude the amazing fact that:'There is not a single moment when thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Muâazzins around the world are not proclaiming the Oneness of Almighty Allaah and the Prophethood of the noble Prophet MuhammadSallallahu Alayhi Wasallam on the face of this earth!' Insha Allaah, this Azaan (universal call) for five times everyday will continue till the Day of Judgment, AMEEN.

    [Isaiah 42:11-12]:
11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing (of Sela), let them shout from the top of the mountains.
12 Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.

The above verses continue to talk about the 'NEW SONG' the 'Promised Prophet' would be sent with, and I have already in the previous post proved that this 'NEW SONG' is the Islamic PRAYER CALL.

However, these above two verses (Isaiah 42:11 & 12) mention that this 'NEW SONG' would be heard and started in the land & wilderness that Kedar inhibit. This means that the 'PROMISED PROPHET' would come from the land of Kedar. So, who is 'Kedar'? and where did 'Kedar' and his sons live ?

Kedar is one of the sons of prophet Ishmael (PBUH). Ishmael and his sons (including Kedar) lived in the wilderness of Arabia.

"And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam," [Gensis 25:13]

"Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants." [Ezekiel 27:21] KJV

All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.[Isaiah 60:7] KJV

According to the Jewish Encyclopedia, about KEDAR:
    http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/view.jsp

    Kedar:
"One of the sons of Ishmael (Gen. xxv. 13; I Chron. i. 29). The name is also applied in Scripture to the tribe that sprang from him, and is likewise used for the Bedouins generally, whose characteristic traits are ascribed to Kedar (Cant. i. 5; Isa. xxi. 16, xlii. 11, lx. 7; Jer. ii. 10, xlix. 28; Ezek. xxvii. 21). While very little is known of Kedar, the head of the tribe, his posterity, called also the "Bene Kedar" (Isa. xxi. 17), are described as barbarous tribes in connection with Mesech. "Woe is me," says the Psalmist (Ps. cxx. 5), "that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!" According to other passages, they appear to have been rich in flocks of sheep and goats, in which they traded with the Syrians (Ezek. xxvii. 21; Jer. xlix. 49). They dwelt in tents of black hair (Cant. i. 5) in the midst of the wilderness of Arabia, and were known as skilful archers (Isa. xxi. 17). But they also settled in villages or towns (Isa. xlii. 11). According to Mohammedan tradition, Kedar ("Ḳaidhar" ) was the ancestor of Mohammed; and it is through him that Mohammed's descent is traced to Ishmael (Caussin de Perceval, "Essai," i. 175).E. G".

Kedar was the ancestor of prophet Mohammed (PBUH); and it is through him that Prophet Mohammed's descent is traced to Ishmael (PBUT).

Ishmael and his sons inhibited in the city of Makkah (Mecca) and there they lived and died.

So, that 'NEW SONG' prophesized in Isaiah 42: 11-12] would start in Makkah (the city where Kedar and his sons lived and inhibited). Makkah is surrounded by 'MOUNTAINS' exactly as descriped in Isaiah 42:11:
    [Isaiah 42:11-12]:
11 "Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing (of Sela), let them shout from the top of the mountains."

11 "Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voices, The settlements where Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing aloud, Let them shout for joy from the tops of the mountains." [New American Standard Bible]

11 "Let those who live in the desert and its cities raise their voices. Let those who live in the settlements of Kedar praise him. Let those who live in Sela sing for joy. Let them shout from the tops of the mountains." [God's Word Bible]

Another amazing fact is the mention of exact name of Mountain Sela which is a known mountain in nearby city of Madinah where prophet Muhammad (PBUH) immigriated from Makkah and stayed there until his death. Here Sela mean,'Rock' in Hebrew language and it is name of a mountain in Madinah.

So, who was this 'PROMISED PROPHET' according to the descriptions given by the prophecy of [Isaiah 42:1-12]!!?

By now and after careful examination and study of theses verses as I presented in my posts, there is no tiny doubt that these descriptions fit no other prophet but prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

    END.
    ==========

The worst person is the one who knows the TRUTH and does not follow it.

I believe there is no god except God, and Jesus , Muhammad Moses and all the rest ,was prophets and messengers of god , and they was all sent by god, and who on this earth is greater, than to argue with the lord, it is in the bible black and white, of course over the years story's have been change for better and worst, and each religion will say bad about the other, but your forgetting the most important thing, the message of God,stop being blind and find out the truth for your self instead of listening to people who are wrapped up in one religion,,,,,, Jesus is of course the son of god, he has no sperm father on earth, and the lord put him in the belly of Mary, so that makes him his father in my eyes, peace and love and happiness to you all x

Is that some sort of a fight between two prophets?

This is a real world problem. The enlightened people called prophets are born to help the humanity. Without following the great things they tell humanity, poor people fight for their greatness over other.

This is absurd. There are many prophets born and still living in this universe. Enlightened human beings. Everyone is equally important and equally great.

    asalamu alaikum

brothers in christianity, it is mentioned in THE BOOK OF ACTS 2:22 'e men of israel, listen to this, Jesus Of Nazareth a MAN approved of GOD amongst you, by wonders and miracles and signs, which God did by him and you are witness to it'.

There is not a single unambigious statement in the complete bible, where Jesus Christ (pbuh) said 'I AM GOD" or where he said "WORSHIP ME"

To the concept of trinity ... nowhere in the bible is the word 'trinity' mentioned. The only verse which the christians can bring forward is from THE FRIST EPISTLE OF JOHN 5:7 which says 'For there are three that bear record in heaven, The Father, The Word and The Holy Ghost, and these three are one' (King James Version).

But, if you read the New Revised Standard Version, written by 32 christians scholars, of the highest emanents, backed by 50 different co-operating denominations, they say that this verse, the closest to Trinity, is an interpolation, a fabrication, and was thrown out of the bible. The RSV goes to the most ancient manuscripts, more authentic than the KJV, which goes to the ancient manuscripts. Jesus Christ never claimed divinity. In fact, in the Gospel of John 14:28 'My Father is Greater than I.' Gospel of John 5:30 ' I of my own self can do nothing. As I hear, i judge, for my judgement is Just, for i seek not my will, But the will of My FAther.'

Anyone who choses God's Will, and submits, is a muslim, Jesus Christ was a muslim.

Lastly, Son of God can mean anyone who is a righteous in the sight of Almighty God. In the bible, Adam was a son of god, so was David, Solomon, etc(pbut0. So what difference does this make to Jesus?

    No.
I believe that religion should be stricken from the equation.
If everybody chose to Have a personal relationship with God through prayer, got honest with themselves and shared their experience, He will restore us to sanity.
To the individual. Do you not believe that you will suffer what you must to understand?
