Well, a day late and a dollar short but, as a 1/2 Norwegian I wish you 'Glad Fars Dag'. I don't speak it I'm afraid but I am learning Danish and working from there, since I know someone fluent. German is ist fein, schaetze.. Ich moechten Sie Vatertag sein gut!

Somehow I learned you were being an Englishman in Norway, how I learned it I dunno, why you are doing it I dunno. I figure its some Tory plot to take back Northern France and forget that whole Hastings embarrasment. So N E way to all Norwegian fathers, and any fathers who are in Norway, May Thor bring down the blessings of Odin upon you and all your little bloodthirsty vikings. I do not speak no Norwegian, and babel fish is of no help; tho I do enjoy Crown Prince One Layer Brisling Sardines and even King Oscar Norwegian Sardines in water, but not the ones in tomato sauce,;ketchup and sardines, no. But no Norwegian words have transferred from my palate to my brain, but i have not yet visited Minnesotta. Nonetheless, I shall attempt, on this, the day of honoring Norse Paternalism, and in the spirit of Eric the Red and Leif the Lucky,and with special recognisance of the expatriot sloth, I say, " Ender herbin unter sterben ender fiord und da herringgg." I dunno, it LOOKS Norwegian to me, 'specially if you stretch out that feeeeeeyorrrd. Ommm eye gawd its the KRAKEN! Oh the tenticles and the suckers and ITS GOT THE SLOTH! and... Oh sorry, I went a little berzerker there. So, uh, happy poppy day and uh enjoy them younguns now.
