  • Honestly, there are several dimensions to this question. As asked, your question is much to nebulous. A person getting out of prison with history of drug abuse or a person getting out with severe and chronic depression are example hypothetical situations. According to the Census Bureau, a person who has been incarcerated is much more like to be incarcerated than someone who hasn't. This already insists that people who go to prison are not only failing to be rehabilitated, but are being socialized further into the most violent and craven aspects society can offer. Someone out of prison likely needs psychological help (Yes, prison is just -that- bad). Many men imprisoned are victims of sexual abuse by other inmates--nevermind the damage of the unnatural condition of being detained in a dangerous, violent environment. Money. You'd need money coming out of prison. With the weakening of the family design in American society, many people literally have no-one to turn to. This is probably the last answer anyone, especially zealous tax-payers, want to hear. Hell. What -DOESN'T- a released prisoner need?
