  • sounds like a permission problem for that path try to use your web-based "file explorer" to browse around the directories in your hosted account and see if the directory in question does not allow the owner of the apache service write permission.
  • Instead of guessing, why don't you contact GoDaddy's free tech support? They are very good. When I installed Joomla on GoDaddy, it happened practically automatically in a couple of minutes. Install it in the Home directory. Make sure use the Linux server.
  • Is the domain detination set to the corect path ? Go into domain managment and (e.g) If your domain was http://projoomla.info/ Then your domain destination would be something like /projoomla This will then create a seperate folder on your server called projoomla Hope this helps
