Yes, I do. I have combination of several diffrent reoccuring dreams. All of which I have to stop breathing to shock myself awake from. The worst ones involve evil things happening to children that I can't stop or that my fiance is still alive, but has left me for someone else.

Yes I have nightmares, about my son and my husband. A lot are floating or racing through black space never being able to reach out and touch the ones I love. One is my son sitting up in a coffin about to be cremated and he is screaming for me to help him. ( he was not cremated) As a child I had similar nightmares but it was things not people i could not reach.

Ugh... this one where I see someone I care about pale and shivering. I approach him, put a coat around his shoulders, and ask him if he's cold. He turns to me and says sadly "No. it's only the maggots". at this point, I realize he's not pale or shivering, he's being eaten alive by fat white maggots!

Ugh! I had the worst dream EVER a few years ago! We recently moved to the country, but our previous house was in town. My son would constantly wonder near the road there, but I would always be there to steer him in the right direction. One night I had a nightmare that he wondered out onto the road and was hit by a car. I just couldn't get to him in time! I ran out onto the road and held his lifeless body in my arms. I woke up in tears and ran to his room just to be sure he was there... it seemed so real! I'm so glad we've moved.

For some reason I have a few recurring dreams. They don't happen that often but when I do dream, usually they are ones I've had before. A nightmare I've had a few times, that will usually wake me up, is of someone breaking into my house, while my kids are home. The theme is always the same, but the details change. The last time I dreamt it, the pizza delivery guy came in the house with a knife.

The worst dream I ever had, was when I dreamt my dad was trying to kill me and my little brother. For some reason we were in a deserted town and I kept running and dragging my little 2 yr old with me, meanwhile my dad was taking his time strolling behind us with an AX!! (you know like in all scary films) he actually got at my leg, and I ended up dragging myself and my brother into an abandoned house. At this point I woke up in a clammy sweat with the worst feeling and my heart pounding out of my chest.. I still think about it and shiver.

There was this one I had as a kid. My dad told me he was working for this secret organization for the gorvernment, and at first it was pretty cool while he introduced me to nice people from work and showed me all his cool gadgets. But then I found out that some mob guy (specifically the tony guy from the simpsons XD) was out to destroy the organization and kill everyone in it. So we were at the headquarters, and all of a sudden, gun shots started going off. My dad and I were in a rush to get out of the building, and we were just about to make it out when some girl screamed and my dad said he recognized the voice and wouldn't leave until he rescued his coworker. He told me to run for the exit and then he disappeared down the halls. Then there was silence and I didn't know what to do. I couldn't leave without my dad so I went back into the building and came face to face with tony. he pulled the trigger at me but my dad came right in time and blocked the gun hole with his finger. (this next part makes no sense, but whatever) so half the bullet went into my dad's finger and the other half into my head. i could see the blood coming down from my forehead and then tony killed my dad and i started running down halls until i reached a dead end. tony held the gun up to me and i literally started hyperventillating until i was jolted out of sleep. and when i woke up, i could still see the outlining of blood flowing down my forehead. yeah, i have vivid dreams :]]

Oh, I remember the worst nightmare I've ever had. The first one was about my mother being murdured by the possesed man. The second was about my father being poisoned. Both times I woke up crying, I knew it wasn't true, but how couldn't I wake up without crying if I had seen my parents die?

yes i did and it wont stop i watched "a nightmare on elm street". And my Nightmares are freaky because last night there were 2 girls sining the song and I was in the freddy house and he came slashing my family and friends> I was screaming and my mom came downstairs and i went for sleep studies.And he said that i had some disorder and i would still have these nightmares and i went under again and freddy was there eating the head of my mom and he came to me and goughed my eyes out i was so freaked out i cant go to sleep anymore.

As a child, I dreamed of a race between good and evil. (probably 80-10 years old). Good was a "blimp" and evil was a black fighter jet. The jet won hands down every time; the result was my waking up shivering in fright like nothing I've felt since!

It has happened to me twice, last time about two years ago. I dreamed that I was sleeping, and then something jumped on me and attacked me. I felt it hitting me, and I felt the pressure of this object on my chest. This was so freakin scary. The worst thing is, that I wake up in my bed, which is the same place where it happened in my dream. And it was so real, I'm laying there and think that it was real. Maybe the thing is still in the room... That freaked me out, hopefully it wont happen again.

I used to have dreams where I was back in prison. That'll wake your ass up.

Yes! That I got back with my ex-wife.

I welcome the ones that wake me up--it's the ones that I don't wake up during that are terrifying. I don't remember the worst dream I've ever had...my mind has blissfully erased it from me conscious memory.
