Oh yes. My son is almost 9 and I keep asking "When do they stop whining?" because he drives me nuts with it.

Can't deal with whiners. It doesn't solve a thing, just makes everyone else in the vicinity miserable.

I detest whiners ( I will admit to being a very quiet pouter myself but NO whining, here) But what I hate worse are people who put up a front and pretend to be a certain way, proclaiming their great behavior and assets and then don't get off their lazy behinds and do any of those wonderful things. Oh yes, they are there in spirit. I'd much prefer someone who whined that they can't do something but then moved in gear and did it finally.

It's not so much the whining as it is the whiney voice....it's like fingernails on the chalkboard.

Definately. No one at my house whines, because if they do I shall kill them :)
