Help answer this question below.

I have a 1996 Ford Contour and when I come to a complete stop my engine will shut off but then it will quickly turn back on. The engine also shuts off if my feet are on the gas and brake pedals at the same time. What's wrong?

My guess would be a vacuum leak. Your master cylinder is boosted by the engines vacuum system. Check the hoses from the master cylinder.
