No that would only lead to vigilante action, which while tempting, helps no one in the long run. The best way to deal with people like this is to keep them in prision where they cant do anymore harm.
-
No, because not many of these people live by themselves. They usually live in apartments or there are other people living in their homes. This wouldn't be fair to the other people living in the same place.
-
I'm not sure if that is legal, but if you go on-line, you can look up the offenders name and picture. You are allowed to pass those out to the people in the neighborhood. A sign on their lawn is violating their consitiutional rights. There was a man in my neighborhood that was a predator so I printed out the flyer with his face, name, and charges. There's no law saying that you can't do that.
-
No. They don't usually do the evil things they do in their home, so they it would be no help in preventing them re-offending. Instead it would make them more afraid, fell less part of society, and more likely to re-offend recklessly. Don't think that such people think like you. What might work against you, who would never have got there in then first place, would not work against them.
-
no I think anyone who does a sexual based crime should never be allowed out of prison.

You mean a scarlet letter? The hardest thing about living in a country that believes in human rights is not simply getting that people you like have them, but that people you don't like have them too. If someone was convicted of a crime, any crime, and was then let out of prison, that means they now have some rights. They may have to see parole officers from time to time, or see counselors or therapists- but that is the business of the government, not of the general public. To do as you describe would result in people's homes being burnt down. Leave the law to the law, not to vigilantism.
-
Personally, I feel that if you cause a crime of any sexual abuse, no matter what degree, that the person should spend life in prison.
-
No. If we do allow this, then the next signs outside the home will be for people that have murdered, robbed, assaulted, etc. This would only trigger people to attack the predator/offender when supposedly they already paid with serving as well as all those who served for other offenses.
