When you want to ask a question that could be deemed as ''personal'', does it put you off knowing that Answerbaggers will most likely assume you're asking because it's an issue you have as opposed to a friend or hypothetical situation?

I think about it, and depending on the question i hesitate, but usually no.

Yes. A bit. If it's something I feel uncomfortable with I will clarify it's just a question, not pertaining to ties to me or sometimes anyone.

Yeah, it does sort of put me off, because some of the questions I ask that seem "personal" I just think of while sitting down for lunch or while I'm writing. Not everything I ask pertains to my personal life.

Yes, I guess it does put me off asking, because you know and I know everyone will assume it is about yourself, and if it is about me, I will still put off asking about some things because I might want an answer but don't want to talk about it.

I find myself rarely asking for personal help and that has always been a problem for me , I have asked some and yes I feel uncomfortable a little , Like today I asked one that was really heartfelt for me to ask and it's been a blessing from all the positive responses I have received ,so you bet I know what your mean + 5
