  • A cowboy or cowgirl...would be lost without their HORSE...companionship, mode of transportation (in the "olden" days), the only sure way to wrangle a steer, the only REAL WAY to get the job done...a true friend... So if a cowboy calls you Hoss...it's a compliment. now if they say you're just greenbroke or call you dude....THEN you need to re-evaluate your situation and your abilities...<wink>
