Why Do Women Shave Their Heads
Is it a Lesbian thing. a Feminist thing or something else? After WWII French women who cavorted with Nazis had their heads shaved. Head shaving associated with the Marines meant that soldiers submitted to a structure. I don't get it. Why shave your head?

To my knowledge, it's NOT a Lesbian thing nor a Feminist thing. The ladies that I've known that did it, did it for the same reason most men do...they were going bald & preferred to shave it ALL OFF rather than have thinning clumps!!! Alopecia has also effected many women & shaved is more appealing than the alternative. Treatments for Cancer can be another reason due to the way the hair falls out in clumps. It gives them the feeling of having control of at least 1 aspect of their life when everything around them is falling apart!!!
