  • In my opinion, Yes! Most definatley.
  • Sh wanted it to be true. Maybe she believed it was true. I cannot judge her or him.
  • Here some information about this story: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Hope Darwin was a great scientist. And as every scientist, he made some errors. But I do not see anything "bad" with Darwin. So how could she be "worse than Darwin"? She has just made something dishonest. Darwin was an honest scientist, as far as I know. Here some information about Darwin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Darwin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Darwin%27s_views_on_religion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inception_of_Darwin%27s_theory http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Development_of_Darwin%27s_theory
  • Charles Darwin was a christian throughout his life. He was actually. He was a creationist. He did nothing more than present the hypothisis (later to become a theory) of evolution, which has nothing to do with creationism.
  • Yep. What makes it far worse is that so many Creationists still cling to that lie. Of course, this follows their standard thought process- cling to a lie you want to be true, and ignore the truth that you don't want to be true. It also exposes another part of the creationist mindset- they blindly follow authority figures like lemmings, so they assume everyone else does as well. They don't get that even if Darwin HAD recounted, and Darwin later claimed all animals were made from molds and the earth was created last Tuesday it would make no difference whatsoever. We don't HAVE blind faith in anything, much less in Darwin. Darwin simply discovered a process that occurs in nature. After that discovery anyone can see the process unfold for themselves. An old Buddhist saying goes something like a teacher points his finger at the moon. After the student sees the moon, the finger is no longer needed.
  • Regardless of her intent, the answer is that she was, indeed, breaking the commandments of her own God. Whether or not that makes her worse than Darwin from a Christian perspective, I cannot say.
  • Yes, if it was a lie, then she did. Don't get me wrong, I believe in Creation, but there is no reason to lie about something. Lying is of the devil because he is a liar and the father of it. It'd be nice to think that Darwin got saved before his death, I suppose only the Lord and himself really know the truth of if he did or not. But if he didn't, then he will have to stand before God and give an account of why he rejected the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is the truth, so we should always tell the truth. I hope that this helps. -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!
