yes, a quality glucosamine does help joints. My father (76) uses it regularly for knee pain (which stays away as long as he regularly takes it).

Sosueme, I still can't comment for some reason. Hope you see this. He uses Nutrilite and has now for several years. He even takes less than the recommended daily dosage. He's tried others at times when he forgot to order more and swears they are not the same because knee pain would return with other brands.

I would guess you have tendonitis, ice for 20 mns 3 to 6 times a day, 200 mg ibuprophrin every 4 hrs.

no. i have never taken it.could just keep a bag of ice on the sore part and give the wrist ample rest before the next play.could take a painkiller of small mg for added help.

I don't know if it works, but you should know this: DO NOT take glucosamine if you have a SHELLFISH ALLERGY.
