17 YEARS....My girlfriend Lisa and I met in 1990. We do not see each other as often as I would like but talk weekly.

The longest friendship I have currently is 9 years. Its still a strong one too.

My best friend is my husband. I've known and loved him since 1969, so how many years? about 38 years.

I've been best friends with one of my friends since we were 3 months old. We went to the same Mommy and Me (it's a pre-preschool) and our moms always sat next to each other. So 21+ years.

I have 3 friends that have been my friends since I was young around 10-11 years old we are all still very good friends even though we now live on different ends of the world. I would say my friendship with these people are to last a lifetime. So far it has been almost 20 years.
