Has some kind of terrorist event happened in the UK that I've missed? Why has everyone started talking about it being dangerous here?

Two large car bombs found and made safe and a burning car deliberately crashed into the terminal building at Glasgow Airport with the intention of it blowing up. No, there's been no terrorist event, just normal 21st Century life:) Don't you watch the News?

Wow.....I just read the post from BryInLanza and I knew about those, having watched the news. But Lady Fuschia....look at how complacent we are becoming, when the car bomb is no big deal. It makes me wonder how many people saw the people who left those cars there. We really do need to be more observant at what is happening around us. We keep hearing about suicide bombers, IED's and all the other terrorist activities that we think "Oh well, happened again, no big deal." Sad and scary at the same time.
