  • I've been in situations where I felt like my emotional pain would kill me. Usually from a "broken heart". I think that because I didn't actually die, I took the lessons that I learned from those experiences and can apply them in my life for future reference, thus making me stronger. And I have to say that getting a disease where it attacks your immune system, like AIDS (You don't actually die "FROM" AIDS, you die because it attacks your immune system so much that you are more likely to die from something small, like a common cold, or flu)- "IT" doesn't kill you, but it certainly doesn't make you stronger.
  • I agree with that statement with the corollary that whatever doesn't kill had damn well better run away fast. Am I something?
