not everyone has health insurance. and it's always better going into an appointment with an idea of what it could be. and people offer a variety of answers also.

I think they want to collect many "second opinions" before they get a first opinion.

Maybe they are wishing that someone will come for an answer that will save them lots of money...like some kind of home remedy.
