  • If you think of it as something external, like a "demon's grip", you will never overcome your addiction. YOU are responsible for your actions, not some imaginary being. The first thing you have to do is accept responsibility for who you are and what you do before you will ever be able to change it.
  • If you know it is wrong, then you must stop. One of the problems is that, when we know we have a problem, we tend to focus on avoiding it, which means we think of it more, which means we are more likely to do it. I don't know what your problem is, so I can't give you specific advice. However, instead of focussing on what you can't do, why not focus on what you can? By doing many other things and keeping yourself away from that thing and occupied, you may find that it becomes less important to you. Secondly, nothing is as strong as Jesus. He said "In this world you will have troubles, but be encouraged: I have overcome the world." He also said "All power in heaven and earth has been given to me." So focus on Him and his power. I wish I could be of more help. I will pray for you right now. If you would like to talk more, you can contact me or my husband (who is a pastor) through our family website.
  • dont worry unless your parents catch you.lol
  • Not always. Some things will be removed completely if you resist them long enough and are delivered from them. Others will always be there as a thorn in your side. If you continue to seek God, he will give the grace to come through the temptation without falling into them.
