In Islam, how many simultaneous concubines is a man allowed to have?

• yes a man can have up to four wives at anygiven time. but he must spend equal time with each wife and treat them equally. however this was the case at the begining of the islamic fate, it was a matter of spreading religion. today, there is no justification for this and alot of men only marry once, however in some countries where women are second class, this is still a promenent issue. i think the reason it has decreased , is not men stooping it, but educated equal women refusing to marry a man who will do this.

• we r not speakin of the men who actually do marry just 1 girl i agree that most not all but most muslom men marry 1 woman but we r arguin not only with the men who marry up to 4 women at once but we r also arguin with the riligion islam as well get it?

• Yes, but only in those two situations (extremely wealthy) which some argue don't follow Islam to the letter -they only take what suits them.
