  • If you didn't buy a ticket it's a scam.
  • Well, Its pretty obvious that its a Scam or gimmick of some kind. Unfortunately, Scams are getting more sophisticated, and harder to Identify. A good rule of thumb is "If it sounds too good to be true, it is." and also "It's better to be safe than sorry." Greed is a big part of Human Nature, and very, very rarely will someone be generous to that magnitude(especially giving away 1 million Euros). A Lottery is a gambling scheme designed to make money, You sell tickets for the chance to win a significant portion of expected ticket sales. If you can win a lottery without buying a ticket, then Why would anyone buy a ticket? no sales, no money, and the Lottery would be a failure. Try and use your head to figure out the catch; "Whats in it for you?" and "Whats in it for me?" "What Guarantee do I have that I will get returns? (whats stopping you from just running away with my money etc)" Common Sense is incredibly usefull and Valuable, and it isnt a natural attribute, you have to learn it. If you ever get scammed, think of it as a valuable lesson (to the value of your loss ;) )!
  • Big time scam!! i was getting at least 20 a day saying i had won the lottery!!,also other scams to watch out for are the begging letters from a relative/lawyer of a deceased person bla bla wanting u to help them by pretending to be long lost reli and claim their millions.....especially if it has nigeria in the mail, block it!!
  • ITS A SCAM IT WAS ON THE NEWS ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO SAYING YOU ARE THE 1 MILLION DOLLER WINNER FULL OF S!IT ITS A FAKE A JOKE
  • If someone is offering you free money out of the blue you can pretty much count on it being a scam.
  • i agree to you all..its a plain scam.. am tiered of this scamming myself...specially the nigerian thing...:)
  • It is a scam mate. If it ain't, keep my share from the prize!!
  • yeah... scam... they just want ur details (credit card?) for money...
  • They are ALL SCAMS. These have been going around for years, duping people out of thousands of dollars, stealing their identity, etc. STOP opening mail that is from anyone you don't know! Mark it as spam and delete it.
  • it sounds like the same thing that had been happening to me... apparently i had one 1 million euros in some kind of lottery. unfortunatly i did email back asking for more evidence and thats when the floodgates were opened. i just kept getting more and more winning offers and started doing some research to find that there was some kind of nigerian squad behind these scams, which steal peoples identity and money. quite shocked i started deleting and now i don't get so many but becareful and don't give any kind of personal info.
  • I would think that everyone has caught on to this as old as it is. I get at least 3 or 4 a week from various "lottos" and from people needing "help" in getting money out of the country (Nigeria). All they want is your information (bank account..credit card, etc.) or for you to pay a "processing fee" or for you to allow them to send you fake checks and money orders to cash and send a percentage back to them with you keeping the rest. Then you will be stuck reimbursing the whole amount. The latest one I got is from Micosoft..from the UK AND Bill Gates..(4 of them yesterday)..lol.
