People either gamble for the fun of it, to take the risk either to earn a reasonable money, or to lose money. Others might do it simply for the fact its a risk. Everyone has their own reasons, winning money, I believe might be the most powerful.

I truly wish I knew my whole family are Gamblers.(Not me thankfully) It is a sickness to work all month and go straight out and put the money in slots and then cry because you do not have the money to pay your bills. I have heard every excuse in the world for being short on the mortgage or car payments and funnily the word gambling is never included in any of them

For some people, gambling is a deep addiction. hoping to win a big jackpot, for a small amount of money. this does happen, but your luck has to be 100%. Some people gamble as entertainment. they have a fixed amount of money to spend and thats it. some people bet the farm and lose it all. It must be a gene, like alcohol, that makes people gamble each and every day. they need their "fix", just like a drug addict. i have known men and women that have gambled away their homes. its sad. OCD......Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It occurs in people that constantly repeat a movement.
