To defend myself, my loved ones, or someone who was innocent and unable to defend themselves.
-
If someone started attacking me physically I wouldn't hesitate to fight back.
-
self defense or protection of my loved ones
-
Defend myself, family, and those unable and are just getting picked on...
-
Only if I left my switchblade in my other purse.

I dont know. Probably never unless Im boxing or doing recreational fighting. If its a matter of defense, Id use my legs because thats where the real damage comes from. If its a matter of insult, I probably will just smirk and walk away. If I wanted to punch someone in the face, Id probably slap them for fear of hurting them.

In defense of my self and/or Family. But ,I must add this. In my humble opinion, there's no such thing as a fair fight, and to protect my family, I'll use anything close at hand, and , will use whatever amount of force nessesary to protect my family and walk away alive, well, and healthy. I'm not going to stand there in a "Contest Of Macho" "Dukesberry Rules" boxing contest with a thug . I learned years ago, working as a bouncer, that thugs just don't fight fair. I have been slashed with a knife before, and have been hit with chairs, bottles, pool cues, and have had guns pointed at me, and have even been actually shot at and luckily was missed. I try to treat others with respect and try to mind my own business. If someone is stupid enough to attack, they will get exactly what they deserve.

I don't think it would take much. But if someone takes a swing at me, it's on. Pretty stupid on my part, but I can't just turn the other cheek.
-
None. I would struggle in defense to get away from someone but I wouldn't take the offense ever. There are other ways to settle differences

The only reason would be to defend my child. As a rule, I do not fight. On two occastions I have been punched and walked away. (those are the only two occasions when I have been hit as well) The first time the person knew I didn't fight, and punched me in the face anyway. I told her she was very brave to hit someone she knew wouldn't hit back and walked away. *as I walked away she tried to egg me on by saying I was a scared b***h - running away, to no avail* The second time was similar, but no snappy retort.

Defence of self, family, or property. And on a light note, you really don't want to fight fist to fist, you should always try for fist to face :)
-
Disrespect my family, or threaten to attack me or my family.

Seems I'm more prone to violence than most here. hehe, the reasons? Loved ones threatened/danger. Protection of anybody, friend or stranger. even people I dont like. Fight for people who are harassing others. If someone really gets in my hair physically and there more likely to think of my scatching wit as a provocation to fight, then those too. But I wouldn't do fisticuffs unless I wanted to humilate them. Normally its a quick leg strike to the back of the knees. If they dont go down, strike and throw jujitsu style and it's normally over. I'll crack out the serious moves if I deem someone a threat to anybodies wellbeing.

There are a few that I can think of! LOL

I've never had the opportunity to find out - or should I say I've never taken the opportunity to find out. Some would call me a wuss; however, I say I am intelligent - I talk my way out of physical confrontations. Now, if my family were ever in danger, then I would be pushed to that proverbial edge. But I'd probably start with my legs rather than my arms.
-
If someone messed with my family or friends there would be a fight. If I told someone that I would back them up in a fight and it came to blows I would fight. and if someone was attacking a person who could not defend themselves and I was around I would fight.(assuming that the assailant wasn't some beast man freak of nature)

Why use a fist when I can use a baton?..lol
