I don't think he should make those kinds of comments. But no I don't think he should be sacked either. Are we saying that If someone calls you fat, or skinny, or lazy, or lesbian or any other comment you don't like we should sack them. Life isn't like that.

No, he's entitled to his opinions. If, however, his personal remarks cause a decline in the show's viewership or compromises advertizing deals, then he should watch out. What he SHOULDN'T be doing are public service announcements for tolerance. It's disingenuine and everyone knows what he thinks, anyway.

That doesn't affect his acting. He can be homophobic if he wants to - I don't have to like him as a person to watch the show.
