  • I was battling that small voice last night, trying to get me to get an ice cream cone when just hours earlier I had Apple pie ala mode. I did everything I could not to hear it but there I was at 12:30 AM eating MORE ice cream. Once again, I succumbed to the evil small inner voice.
  • It is that small voice that has made me into who I am today. Past years of my life are full of confusion, anxiety, and a feeling of being lost. My inner voice spoke up once, and lucky for me I tuned in to hear the shouting. It isn’t easy to hear it, and at times I still try to tune it out. But, I think that your inner voice is God influencing your subconscious. Trying to direct you in the path and direction that is best for you, whether you see it that way or not. The only way to hear the true meanings and teaching of that voice is silence. Meditation is one way. Silencing your thoughts and your own desires, allowing our thoughts to be unclouded. I find that I have to be really focused and most importantly open to what I might learn or hear about myself, the paths I should take, how to move on from the past, or anything else that is brought to my attention. I am an extremely spiritual person, so my belief is that it is God’s way of communicating and talking to us in way that we will understand and accept.
  • Peace and quiet is what it takes. Just get away from it all anyway you can. (Sitting quietly, gardening, walking, whatever you enjoy), and LISTEN. Eventually you'll hear it.
  • Yes. Willingness to hear and quietness. In His service, <:))))<>< "My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge." Psalm 62:7
