Feist had the idea for the Magician while still in college, releasing the title two years later. It's a good read--much better than the Gormenghast trilogy by Mervyn Peake.

I have read Magician countless times and found it captivating. I liked it so much i now have every single book by Feist. They are amazing, and i cannot wait till the new book comes out!

Magician is a great read, along with the other books in the series. Pug is a recurring character in Feist's books and it all starts with Magician.
