Sounds like the new belt may be the wrong size, or it may need adjusting. If you paid a professional for the replacement, I would contact them first. If you did the work yourself, please unplug the dryer before working on it. Check to be sure you were given the correct belt for your machine. The part number may be printed on the belt. If the belt is the correct one, check to see that the parts connected by the belt are 'tight' and not wobbling about. You may be able to tighten the belt by adjusting back one or both parts driven by the belt. Hope I've been some help. Welcome to AB!

It,s either the wrong size or their is an adjusting pully ,The pully has a spring on it to keep the belt at the right tension,,,, it may be stuck,.
