What is the difference between the Christian concept of 'Original Sin' and Hindu theory of 'karma' --other than the former being a 'recruitment pitch' of an organized scam?

I can't see how one is any more or less of a scam than the other. Karma is the central support of the caste system; no sense in trying to change your station in life because you'd only have to do it over again anyway. . That said, I would suggest that the chief difference is that with the original sin doctrine you only get one chance to clean up enough sin to attain heaven, while with karma you get countless do-overs.
