Definitely. Brian Cowen (taoiseach of my country, Irealand) get's paid more than Barrack Obama, and he does f**k all for our country. His methods of dragging us out of the recession are take money from everyone but himself. It makes me sick!

It kinda goes hand in hand with the position, Some are there to actually try to do some good things, but to get those things done, such as pass healthcare reform, you have to scratch a lot of backs.
Everyone has their hand out, and basically till you rub that hand, you wont get their vote, rather pathetic when you think about it, the rubbing is usually done by putting something in the bill that they want.
Such as something for their state that makes their state money, it can take place a lot of different ways, its all part of the political game.
I wish it wasn't this way, but that is what it has turned into, all from greed, "Whats in it for me?", its a mentality we need to get away from and just ask the question, "What is really the right thing to do?".
