Not since I programmed the TV not to show anything that isn't educational or entertaining in a non-offensive manner. Plus I have shown the little dear how to fast forward through commercials on the DVR. She loves that and she's not watching the commercials anymore. 9 10ths of the problem if you ask me. Dd watches no more than an hour of tv a day. Usually less.

Yes, with shows like Jackass, Wild Boys, Wondershozen and Bam, children think this is normal behavior.

I think that all those stupid Tellietubbies should be shot for teaching a whole generation of children in babytalk.

I don't even agree with how the school system teaches us how to live. I mean, vending machines conveniently around the corner? What is this? "Don't get food from the vending machines, even though we have them in the school." Contradiction much?

Of course, if they are allowed to watch anything containing violence, vulgarity, nudity and sex. If you make them watch kids shows, all G rated from the time they are toddlers, they will not only learn from the shows, but not have to be exposed to adult issues. Even teens should be monitored as to what they can and cannot watch.

Yes, theres things, like music videos teaching children the wrong ways to live life. But the problem is you really can't keep your kids away from it for there childhood life...its all over school, sex is getting to reach grade six now... The only way you can keep your kids locked up and non social is home schooling, which i think screws up a child's social development skills.
