  • Well this should be interesting...
  • Most Christians also do not believe in rapture. It might have been a popular belief at one time, but all the reading I've done lately points against it.
  • No, I don't. Our church doesn't teach that.
  • What the hell am I? The Pope?
  • Just a comment here: The Bible clearly describes an event where Jesus Christ takes believers, alive and dead, to be with Him. There isn't much argument over that general teaching. When the word "rapture" is used, many people equate it with the errant teaching that says believers, living and dead, will be whisked from this world before the troubling events described in the Revelation begin-most also believe that somehow, with the archangel shouting and trumpets sounding, that this whisking away will be a secret. There is much debate over that teaching, and I'm curious as to whether the original poster will clarify his/her use of the word "rapture".
  • Listn to Professor Walter J Veiths lectures on google video - one of them he discusses the rapture - darned if I can remember which one! He has a wealth of knowledge on everything - including new world order/masons etc so whatever you happen apon by him, I am sure you will love it!
  • Oh, yeah, I'll spend all day on that endeavor. If you don't believe good for you.Sprituality vs. Religion according to me.... SPIRITUALITY: "When asked where God is, people point towards the sky or some far and distant region; no wonder then that He does not manifest Himself! Realize that He is in you, with you, behind you, and all around you; and He can be seen and felt everywhere." Satya Sai Baba RELIGION: 11. Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man…living in the sky. Who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer, and burn, and scream, until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you. He loves you and he needs money. George Carlin I have a life and no one convinced me of anything I believe. I went out and did the search for my own path my own self.
  • Never seen the word "Rapture" in the Bible. I'll be curious to see what you find out.
  • I do not "believe" in the Rapture, either. The Bible clearly says that flesh does not enter heaven. Only spirit. It is doctrine not supported by the Bible. You may call it "wishful thinking", also.
  • I will offer this...the word "rapture" as it's used, isn't in the Bible, and convincing you of the "Ratpure" would be usless, without you first believing in God. That word, rapture is used to describe " raise from the dead". It is a Greek word here, from 1435,& 450(Strong's Concordance) in John 2:19-6:54 part of the Scripture that specifically reffers to the dead at the end times. 1 Tim.4:16, says, "The dead in Christ will rise first" and the word rapture is used to describe that event. But if you do not believe in Jeaus, it would be futile for me to "convince" you of anything, except that when the sun is shinning, it's daytime, and when the moon is showing, it's night. {{PLEASE}}, do not see this as sarcasim, but the truth, as you should choose to believe, as you grow spirtiually, God will impart to you through the Holy Spirit the knowlegde He has for you . You get all the information, but understanding as you grow in the Spirit, and learn from other Christians, and study...But always remain cautious about what you believe. Check it all out for yourself, test the spirits, and gain knowledge from studying the Word of God...(Bible). I use a New King James, a, Traditional KingJames, A Reese Chronological Bible, and a Daily Year Throught the Scriptures Bible, and my trusty Strong's Concordance to translate the origional Greek and Hebrew text. I am responsible for telling you the truth, and will be held accountable to God if I lie about Him...I do not want to go there!!!8) +5
  • Nope. But I can convince you with the Bible that you're right. . Thanks for asking.
  • The rapture happens for each christian when we die. our body dies and our spirit is transcended to be with Jesus and Jehovah.
